If I’m wrong, please name a single conservative accomplishment that has been made by them in the last 25 years!

You don't recall No Child Left Behind, the Patriot Act, or the top bracket income tax cut of 1989?

Don't forget the TSA.

Agreed. We need something like a hero. None of the GOP candidates looks like one even remotely. Except Trump. What he did in the debate(s) was make them all look like total wussies.

I liked both Walker and Cruz, but unfortunately they look like wussies too. They're too nice, too polite, too obedient. We need a leader and figurehead.

The Republican Party of Virginia dares to demand that Mr. Trump swear an oath of loyalty
to them, and furthermore promise that he will not run as a third party candidate.    source

Someone just found the Virginia Republican Senate Majority Leader's name on an Ashley Madison account.

Legislators' names appear in hacked Ashley Madison data

But as I said, I trust no liberal, and Donald Trump is a liberal.

I don't believe for 1 minute Trump is ideological either way. Conservative or liberal. He definitely has been inconsistent over the years. He is smarmy and an opportunist. But that doesn't disqualify him, for me. We don't need a boy scout. We need someone who isn't afraid to lose, because that is how you win. Trump, as already pointed out, has the FU money to not care and not apologize. That is very appealing.

Trump isn't a problem "to be solved". Trump is there because of the pre-existing problems that have seen the People being betrayed by those who claim to support them.

Donate what you can afford to Cruz to keep him viable and it will all work out in the wash. Trump has done us all a favor if only we can leverage it instead of beefing about how he's "not a real conservative and must be smashed" because the act of smashing him is like playing Russian Roulette with 5 slugs in the chambers.

GO CRUZ!!! Keep it up Trump!

Will you be supportive of him when he implements liberal social policies?

There are a lot of people who are rolled up by his rhetoric, without knowing what Donald stands for.

I'll take this one. I speak only for myself. It depends what they are! Not everything is equally important.

I don’t disagree. But I think there are a lot of people reading on this site who get worked up by the emotion of the Donald. Like Sanders to the left, he “sounds” good. But the reality might be different.

What if his solutions include cutting Social Security or Military pensions. I use these examples because any “manager” out here knows that’s what has to happen to keep spending in check.

I personally think he would do better at getting Congress to act. But that means compromise. There are a lot of folks who do not want to compromise on anything.

It's a calculated risk; due to the depravity of the current GOP and Obama's treachery (and the ascendancy of voter fraud, social media -- dumbing down -- and the press bias)...we don't have any good choices.

Ideologically pure, little chance of success --> Biden, Hillary, or Sanders; loss of supreme court and destruction of border, Texas turns purple and the Dems own the White House until the destruction of the US in 10-15 years.

Donald --> may help break the overt partisan ship of the Press, or at least hold it at bay for a time; may stab is in the back on important social issues by forcing a 35% or 45% conservative favorable compromise set in stone: but at least we get *part* of the loaf.

The key is who suborned the GOP-e, and how and why. The bulk of young people have been propagandized into shallow repetition of slogans and herd think by Twitter and the like; they have not had our traditions handed down by schools, but propagandized instead; and they come from broken homes and have no sense of marriage or sexual morality, considering these superstitious relics of the repressed and of fanatics.

There is a faint backlash in the manosphere, but that will take time to play out and for the effects to reach women, who are herd creatures and not very good at cause and effect.

The left has planned and executed the destruction of America -- indeed, of cis-het-white Christian culture ("The West") for over a hundred years. Its success is one of the things that has led me to conclude that it has literally been diabolically inspired; such large scale sociological finesse to destructive ends, each time by insipid yet irresistible temptation, with downstream effects far greater than first realized, effects which can be dismissed beforehand to make the opponents of the change look fanatical, even when correct? Luciferian.

The Left knows this, at least the leaders do; which is why the opinion makers are *so* vicious against Christians; witness MeGYN Kelly's sneer at the debates as to whether any of the candidates had heard a Word from God.

(The best answer would have been to glance at one's fingernails, and offhandedly remark that no, neither Obama nor Hillary had called one in the prior week; or to ask, since everything Obama had done on the economy and the Middle East had gone to Hell in a hand basket, whether Obama had heard from the Devil lately.)

Iran is a problem.
Establishment Uniparty taking money from our enemies is a problem.
The illegal invasion of our country is a problem.

Trump is a solution. ...unless you have a better idea.
