Rising star Carly Fiorina declared her position quite clearly on vaccinations.
Knowing that some vaccinations contain aborted human baby cells, Carly says parents have a 1st Amendment religions right to refuse those vaccines.
"We must protect religious liberty and someone's ability to practice their religion," said the former Hewlett-Packard CEO.
But Carly Fiorina wasn't just discussing theoretical positions on vaccines. She told of her personal experience with a public school nurse who tried to bully Carly's daughter into getting a vaccine against HPV, a sexually transmitted disease.
Kudos to Carly on her principled position opposing mandatory injections of anything the government wants to insert into the arms of our children.
But before we end this video, I have one question: Why is it that school administrators and school nurses are so obsessed with sex as if they automatically assume every school age teen is having sex?
According to statistics I've seen, sexual promiscuity is actually going down. If that is the case, schools should think the best of their students and drop their false and potentially dangerous assumptions since vaccines are not without side effects, including death.
Perhaps the HVP shot should not be mandatory to everyone, but other shots, such as measles, chicken pox and mumps should be.. IMO.
So you admit you don’t believe in religious freedom and freedom of conscience?
How can you vaccinate against force?
What’s a “force vaccination”? Something done in a military center?
If not, does this blog have a headline editor?
Your reply was force. Now, go force and sin no more.
Then you are against freedom and for Medicare tyranny.
You may want to recheck your position.
Stupidity. This antivac movement is what nutty moms picked up after alar apples, irritable bowel syndrome, and fibromyalgia.
Stupidity
Wish those vaccinations had been available and mandatory when I was a child. Because they were not I had every childhood disease known to man before I started school. LOL!
yep. this ‘issue’ is way way down my list of things I am worried about right now.
My kids have had their vaccinations. They are protected. If you don't want your kids to be protected that is your choice. No one should be forced to have vaccinations, whether at a national or local level, especially since we are forced to pay for public schools regardless if we use them or not. She should be talking about real issues, perhaps the tyranny behind public schools, e.g., you will have your property confiscated, face fines and jail time if you don't pay for them. The idea Carly profers is that individuals can opt out of public schools if they disagree with a vaccinations policy is false as long as you have to pay for public schools.
What??
How do you come to this conclusion?
Are you unworried that certain diseases almost erradicated are rapidly becoming more common? Thousands of illegal immigrants being but one cause.
You sound like a tyrant.
For a variety of reasons, in particular her badmouthing of Trump, I don’t like Carly anymore. Unlike Trump, who has been out there building things all his life, Carly just climbed the HP corporate ladder and then got fired by them. Not that great a resume IMO.
She also said if they are not vaccinated they should not be allowed in public school. Tried to walk it back. Sounded smooth but frankly she was befuddled
No it isn’t. It is for freedom loving Americans that have vowed to raise their children, trusting in God. I am ex-Military and came to my decision through study and faith. My ancestors survived 6000 years without vaccinations. It is bothersome defending freedom from limp-wristed faux conservatives that are willing to abdicate my right to raise my children in good faith.
This is a huge issue. If we allow the government to eradicate the last vestiges of religious freedom in the country, believe me, it will get much darker and bloodier.
Vaccinate your own children. They will be protected. My children are. But we should allow others to make the their own decisions. Vaccinations are not a function of education. Schools have lost their focus and do little well. Why in the world should we pay tax dollars to schools to enforce what is a rational decision to most parents when schools achieve at such a low level? Let’s allow schools to focus on education and parents focus on their children’s health.
Thanks for responding on this. It really is amazing to see how quickly life-shattering events from the past can be forgotten.
You may be right...but I don't think so.
