Elderly pensioners biggest tragedy in Greek Bailout
Canada Free Press ^ | 07/13/15 | Judi McLeod

People have become herds of cattle and statistics to tax-rich governments and bureaucracies

Any country whose financial problems leave thousands of elderly pensioners having to queue up in front of banks is an abysmal failure. Any system that doesn’t put vulnerable pensioners first is heartless.

Governments worldwide and their bureaucracies continue to treat people like cattle. For all of their hype as saviours, the European Union is über government. Ditto for the out-of-control United Nations, whose bumper sticker approach of “saving humanity” is a decades-old farce.

People have become herds of cattle and statistics to tax-rich governments and bureaucracies.

My heart bleeds. Greece is a democracy, is it not? So who voted for the politicians who implemented these unsustainable polices.

Exactly. The very same old people who put their own comfort ahead of the financial futures of their own children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Time to pay the piper.

Whatever that means.

The average retired person in western Europe and North America get 100 times what a elderly get in say Somalia. I am sure that the UN is just trying to make things ‘fair’.

The tragedy in Greece is the lack of courage.

They blame everyone but themselves. That is cowardly.

They look for everyone else but themselves to solve this. That is cowardly.

Blackhearts take advantage of cowardice. They will tell the Greek people what they want to hear while they steal the last of Greece’s wealth.

People all over the world are stupid and greedy.

“You can’t con an honest man.”

The Greeks first need to be honest with themselves.

I cry for all the socialists who experience the same fate as all other socialists. So sad...

...

I wonder how many will read the article to find out why pensioners are mentioned.

Many won’t, but the article is not marked as an except, in error, so that will suppress the readership.

I believe that there are no real socialists who are over 25 years old.

Young people in universities believe in the glorified lies of socialism. That’s because they haven’t experienced the real world yet.

They are protected by family and the education system. They live in the land of make believe where everyone is kind and work hard.

The “socialists” who are older than 25 and still preach it, are the very dregs of humanity. They have been stripped of their illusions by the real world, and now seek revenge on the world by taking advantage of the young and the foolish and the greedy. Hillary Clinton is a horrible human being because she is being deceitful about her motivations. She is no socialist. She has five estates now.

Stupid, greedy people are easily conned. There will always be con men. Con men move on when they can no longer run the con game.
