BOOM ! Our suspicions were 100% accurate in the review of all prior information coming from the released details.
An “accidental” self-induced injury stemming from Freddie Gray standing, not being seat-belted; and as a consequence of the van moving/stopping, Freddie Gray impacting the wall of the transport van. Also including the presence of opiates and cannabinoid within his toxicology report.

“Nickel Ride?”
Not according to the other passengers. The time it took to get to the station showed an average of 7 MPH.
Not every perp winds up dead. If you have a person in your custody, who seeks medical attention, and you refuse to provide or request that medical attention, and the person in your custody dies....well....you’re screwed.
That’s the chance you take.
Yeah, whatever.
Except, medical attention WAS requested by the driver.
When a doper high on drugs tries to hurt himself, there is little anyone can do,. And he was probably trying to ram through the back door.
This was self inflicted.
Don't forget the toxicology report...
including the presence of opiates and cannabinoid within his toxicology report.
He may have figured if he ran into the door he would be ejected through the roof and come back down miles away floating down on a golden parachute.
If you can find the map. He was taken away from the final destination, then to pick up the second past the destination and finally back to where they were heading. The first stop was the one that was not put into the original report but showed up after time.and distance didn’t add up
I’ve asked repeatedly if any of the officers arrested were involved or on duty with officers involved with the previous five incidents
Amazingly often.
Odd the left hasn’t called for cameras in back of vehicles...
Uh-huh. Regardless of the tox report, procedure said that he should have been belted into his seat. The police didn't, and it could well have been intentionally. They're responsible for his death. Was it murder? No, I don't think so. But it was definitely negligence.
You wish. And so do I but it will not be so.
This will be swept under the rug. Justice for the 6 cops will be delayed, hidden and forgotten.
The libs bury their mistakes and the press digs the holes.
I disagree that it was self inflicted. He was shackled, so he didn’t have as much control over the centrifugal forces that he would be subject to when the van made the various stops and turns.
It was likely that he didn’t stay seated and was thrown at an inopportune moment and hit one of the walls.
Maybe he was nauseous from the drugs in his system?
This was not premeditated. It may be something to sue Baltimore for not mandating seat belts but it’s not murder. It’s seatbelt negligence but not homicide and they are short a bunch of businesses now including the CVS.
Yep. That’s the way this incident fits into the template. Negligent homicide at worst. That charge is not, I don’t think, a stretch.
Yes but this is old news.
We’ve moved on to evil confederate flags and white women who think they’re black.
Have you ever SEEN someone high on opiates and/or marijuana. Ramming oneself into a van door is not what one would expect from opiates/marijuana. Pretty much the opposite of what you would expect.
They had them. They weren’t working and had not been repaired
if he was withdrawing from heroin anything could happen. Drug seekers have been known to hurt themselves to get pain meds.
I can see that. What was the level of drugs in his system? Seems like they have neglected to tell that part.
