Sadly, the American dream is dead. But if I get elected President Ill bring it back. Bigger, better, and stronger than ever before. Thats the word from billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump who, just moments ago, announced he was running for President. I dont have much to add to his bombastic speech, so Ill simply say this. Whatever happens with Trumps candidacy, it was incredibly refreshing to hear someone who is unapologetic about their wealth and success.
2012 gave us a mealy-mouthed Mitt Romney who was constantly trying to shirk the fact that he was a well-heeled success story. It felt like he was always trying to deny his financial reality in a phony effort to be just like you. Trump isnt doing that at all. As he put it, hes the most successful person ever to run for the presidency, by far.
Hes famously claimed he has a Gucci store worth more money than Romney.
...And I love that. To hell with the wealth-shamers. Its about time SOMEONE decided to stand up and be proud of their own success. Youre whining about income inequality because youre unsuccessful? Sorry. That sounds like a you problem.

Trump should turn his running for president into a reality TV show.
The first dollars he spends should be on a speech writer.
If nothing else, he will be fun to listen to. It is always refreshing to hear commentary from people who are NOT owned by others.
If it comes down to Jeb or Trump in the primary I’ll take Trump.
If it comes down to Trump or Hillary in the election I’ll take Trump.
Trump is not the best candidate, but he’s better than Jeb or Hillary.
I detested Romney more for his mealy mouth responses to the cunning community organizer than any other of his faults.
It is refreshing to see someone like Trump, to be totally unafraid to speak his mind.
“TrumpAmerica—it’s going to be HUGE!”
Unfortunately, women would not vote for a man who ahs married a model.
Why? Trump has already pierced into the top 10 in polls before he has even begun his campaign. Trump will be fun to watch in the first debate.
The best part of Trump is you won’t get him kissing the butt of Democraps like we get from the RINOs and Repub-Es. He does not give a damn about controversy, he will tell it like is. Like today he said Mexican illegals are drug dealers and rapists. There is nooo way in hell any of the Repub candidates today would say that.
What is wrong in marrying a model? Trump has never been rumored for infidelity to his wife. With his money, he can bed down a thousand models. But he has been a faithful husband and family man. I think most intelligent women will admire that trait.
The only way I would vote for him is if it was between him and Hillary but at least he will be fun to watch.
His candidacy may be good for Rick Perry, though, as Perry may no longer be the biggest clown on the stage. "May", being the operative word as it is possible Perry makes Trump look presidential.
Ha! Best GIF!
at least the first day will look good
The reason Trump is getting so much ridicule, and threads about him are generating so many comments both positive and negative is because he really has a ... gasp ... a chance. Name recognition, generally likable (outside FR), cocky, and his pro-jobs/economy message hits home. After 8 years of the kenyan homo socialist traitor, would a flamboyant real estate mogul and businessman be so bad?
Here’s a golden oldie from Trump:
“Im a conservative on most issues but a liberal on health. It is an unacceptable but accurate fact that the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 42 million. Working out detailed plans will take time. But the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare.
Our objective [should be] to make reforms for the moment and, longer term, to find an equivalent of the single-payer plan that is affordable, well-administered, and provides freedom of choice. Possible? The good news is, yes. There is already a system in place-the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program-that can act as a guide for all healthcare reform. It operates through a centralized agency that offers considerable range of choice. While this is a government program, it is also very much market-based. It allows 620 private insurance companies to compete for this market. Once a year participants can choose from plans which vary in benefits and costs.”

How exactly Trump is a liberal?
Building a fence on Mexican border as top priority liberal?
Fighting with China on trade imbalances liberal?
Making military stronger liberal?
Having no affairs with models (he could have bedded 1000 models with his money) liberal?
Being loyal to his wife and family liberal?
Being against gun control liberal?
Being against rapist & murdering illegals liberal?
Or is Trump a liberal because he has donated to democrats to protect his business interests?
I am for universal healthcare, just not the one run by the government. Yes, I am pro-health for ALL Americans.
