Bill Nye, who once called himself the science guy, took advantage of the torrential rains that hit Houston and the surrounding area to get up on the global warming aka climate change hobby horse. Tuesday, he tweeted, Billion$$ in damage in Texas & Oklahoma. Still no weather-caster may utter the phrase Climate Change. Of course meteorologists, unlike Nye, have spent their careers studying weather and its underlining causes. For a more scientifically accurate explanation of what caused the storms, read the Houston Chronicles excellent and fact based analysis.

I think it was just caused by Spring.

Sure.
Man made global warming causes floods in Texas. And droughts in California. Just as it causes the sun to set in the west and is the reason why water is wet.
These morons make it easy as well as fun to be deniers. You really have to have SFB to believe there fairy tales.

They blamed the drought in 2013 on Global Warming.

I used to love his Bill Nye the Science Guy show.
Oh well.

I think the sun had a lot to do with it. Maybe most of it. Heck, probably all of it!

Global warming - Is there ANYTHING it can’t do?
Case in point: Last year the drought in Texas was being caused by global warming.

The guy is an idiot. I remember they asked him about deflate-gate, and he couldn’t even get the formula for absolute air pressure right.
He tries to look smart by wearing a bow-tie, but he can’t hide his ignorance.
