Natural scientists agree that the climate is changing and that humans bear some of the blame. Social scientists are now attempting to assess the economic and political price societies are likely to pay for turning up our planet’s thermostat. The security policy community is especially eager for an answer.
In the academy, the debate over climate change and its security implications gained momentum after researchers from Stanford, the University of California Berkeley, New York University, and Harvard observed that civil wars were more prevalent during years that experience hotter temperatures. The chief explanation for this relationship is that higher temperatures affect crop yields. Diminished agricultural output, in turn, as economist Ted Miguel and co-authors explain in a separate study, affects young men who are “more likely to take up arms when income opportunities are worse for them in agriculture [. . . ] relative to their expected income as [fighters].”

Where I come from this is what is politely referred to as a complete crock.
This is barely a hypothesis, let alone a conclusion supported by facts. At best it is a flight of fancy supported by conjecture.
So the obvious answer is more and better air conditioning.

What a pant load! By every measurable standard violence in most countries is down. As a matter of fact, all violent crimes in the US have seen an incredibly sharp decline. Murders, rapes, robberies and assaults are all WAY down.
This is simply more data manipulation for a non existent ‘crisis’!
But it seems that the thermostat hasn’t moved in some 18 years.
I am so baffled by this. The genius weathermen called for rain this entire weekend, as it was, not a drop!
If they can’t tell me what the weather is going to be 3 days out, how can they tell me what is going to happen in decades to come?

Lord have mercy, this is too much even for the propagandists who gin up these studies for a living. All evidence shows that during the last several warming periods -- which all had higher temperatures than this-- we had massive increases in crop outputs and surging population. It was a boon for mankind. Only when we hit the Little Ice Age did the wars start getting bad.

This narrative is designed to keep the no information crowd away from the fact that all the major conflicts in the world have Islam at the hart of the problem.
Ever since this planet was created, its climate has been changing. That is something these power-grabbing fanatics don’t want to understand or admit to knowing about.
