The New Hampshire House Business Caucus, in partnership with the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, will host its fourth in a series of business roundtables with presidential candidates, on Monday, June 1, at 9 a.m. at The Draft restaurant, 67 South Main St. in Concord, according to a press statement.
The featured speaker, and declared presidential candidate, will be Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas.
The momentum continues to build as we have more and more candidates take part in this series. We have had a terrific response and level of interest from the business community, the candidates, and state elected officials, said New Hampshire House Business Caucus founder and chairwoman, state Rep. Laurie Sanborn, R-Bedford.
Chamber members have been fully engaged in the roundtable series to date and are looking forward to future events, such as this one with Senator Cruz. This is the best way for businesses to really get to know the candidates and understand their positions on key issues, said Tim Sink, President of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.
Ted Cruz has been a tireless fighter for liberty his entire life because his family knows what it is like to lose their freedom, according to the statement. Cruzs father fled to the United States to attend the University of Texas in 1957 after being tortured and imprisoned in Cuba. In 2012, Cruz was elected as the first Hispanic or Cuban American to serve as a U.S. Senator from Texas. Prior to this role, Cruz was Director of the Office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission and Solicitor General for the State of Texas. He was the first Republican candidate to announce his intention to run in the 2016 Presidential election.
The Business Roundtable is free, but space is limited, and RSVPs are required by May 26, 2015.

Beat me to it!
Did I? I had it in reserve on my computer since around 10:30 AM and went shopping at Wally-World for a little over an hour or two before posting it. LOL Did you see that Lindseed Grahamnesty declared?
Yup!
Should only help our side.
He will take from the Moderates, Conservatives will continue to flock to Ted.
He’s getting the more clear-headed Paulestinians/Libertarians, Reagan Democrats (you saw that article by Dave Nagle!), pro-Israelis even some “gay” ones), fiscal & social conservatives, hawks, Orthodox, Latinos, legal immigrants and SE Asians..
Eliminating corporate taxation would help more than abolishing the minimum wage.
Hopefully Ted Cruz can make enroads and a good dent into New Hampshire.
If Ted Cruz can come out of Iowa strong and number one, then beat Jeb Bush in New Hampshire, and do very well in South Carolina, he would or could sweep Florida.
Nope, didn’t see what he said.
Nope, didn’t see what he said.
And over bearing regulations on businesses.
