What the EPA is attempting to impose on America is a drain on our production of electricity coupled with an increase in its price. It is an obscene attack on our economy
There are many things I do not like about the Environmental Protection Agency, but what angers me most are the lies that stream forth from it to justify programs that have no basis in fact or science, and which threaten the economy.
Currently, its Clean Power plan is generating its latest and most duplicitous Administer, Gina McCarthy, to go around saying that it will not be costly, nor cost jobs. Clean Power is the name given to the EPA policy to reduce overall U.S. carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 30% from 2005 levels by 2030. It is requiring each state to cut its emissions by varying amounts using a baseline established by the EPA.
Simply said, there is no need whatever to reduce CO2 emissions. Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant as the EPA claims. It is, along with oxygen for all living creatures, vital to the growth of all vegetation. The more CO2 the better crops yields will occur, healthier forests, and greener lawns. From a purely scientific point of view, it is absurd to reduce emissions.

Conservation of Energy. Universal, immutable. To ‘get’ energy, it has to be taken from somewhere else.
It never was about clean, just about power. As for any mess made, that ends up in someone else’ back yard, well, NIMBY is just fine with Lieberals.
"It never was about clean, just about power."
How much money could be saved by eliminating the EPA & a few other counter-productive agencies?
As a side note to this thread, please consider the following. The constitutionally undefined EPA is another great example why the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A) should never have been ratified. More about 17A shortly.
Note that while the states need to respect the environment, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate intrastate environmental issues.
And even if the states had delegated such power to Congress, the Founding States had made the first numbered clauses in the Constitution, Sections 1-3 of Article I, to clarify all federal legislative powers are vested in the elected members of Congress, not in the executive or legislative branches, or in non-elected bureaucrats like those running the EPA. So Congress has a constitutional monopoly on federal legislative powers whether it wants it or not.
Getting back to 17A, senators should have stopped Congress from stealing 10th Amendment-protected state power to protect the environment by killing all bills that dealt with the establishment of the EPA.
Optionally, the Senate could have led Congress to propose an environmental protection amendment to the Constitution to the states which would have granted the feds the power to regulate environmental issues if the states had chosen to ratify it.
Instead, in blatant defiance of the constitutional clauses referenced above, the corrupt Senate helped the corrupt House to delegate constitutionally nonexistent federal regulatory powers to the EPA, senators wrongly protecting these bogus powers from the wrath of the low-information voters who elected them by doing so.
The 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and a bunch of corrupt senators along with it.
Applies to an isolated system.
In how liberals and econuts apply it, it is an isolated system. Cause-effect, it is ALL due to coal, petroleum products, water temperature, political persuason and all that.
They blame volcanoes and earthquakes on some poor fart in Kentucky burning coal in his cabin or because he uses incandescent lights run off a gas generator.
Yet, wind turbines that would blanket every free space on this earth would be limitless in benefit and not cause one single problem - Condors aside.
