Alan Dershowitz responds to Baltimore States Attorney Marilyn Mosby saying her decision was entirely based on politics and crowd control.
Dershowitz said this is a very sad day for justice and that Mosby acted out of a desire to prevent riots. It will be virtually impossible, he predicted, for the six officers involved to get a fair trial. ...

Nope, none of that matters on appeal. She could have conducted the most biased investigation in the history of biased investigations, and it would not matter on appeal. IF the officers are convicted (a huge if), then the conviction will stand or fall based on the evidence presented in court, and the court’s rulings during the course of the trial. If you tried to argue on appeal that the prosecution was biased, you would be laughed out of every appellate court in the country.
From what I understand, this knife is illegal in Baltimore.
I'd like to know if the knife was a switchblade or some sort of switch assisted blade. Is it illegal in the City of Baltimore? And if it was illegal in Baltimore, who is advising this woman?
She evidently purged the department she heads of veteran investigators:

“Mrs. Mosby and her husband Nick have made it known they intended to racialize the State Attorneys office. Lead Baltimore prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby (35), took over the Baltimore State Attorneys Office in January. Upon taking office, Mosby purged the office of several veteran prosecutors STORY HERE
Also: [ ] The changes were announced during a brief meeting with more than 300 employees Wednesday morning at police headquarters. Mosby said the new office structure was based in part on ideas from prosecutors offices in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta. STORY HERE
Mosby campaigned by using racial division as a wedge issue and was openly using her antagonistic views toward police as a tool to gain political power:”
My mistake, the article says veteran prosecutors, not veteran investigators. She probably did both. I imagine she relies on the investigators that are loyal to her agenda.
I’ve heard the more serious charges will be the ones that will be more difficult to convict on. Maybe this was thought through?
It’s theater.
Rush to judgement.
Trumped up charges.
The acquittal.
Generational votes for Democrats.
Repeat.
There really is nothing to discuss...
A cowardly sneak attack avenged by a couple of atomic mushroom clouds.
I wouldn't classify the use of nuclear weapons against Japan as merely a get-even ploy. I would classify it as a tactical decision to shorten the war.
If Japan had surrendered before the first use of the weapons, they wouldn't have been used. If Japan had surrendered after the first bomb was used, there would have been no utilization of a second.
Too bad the South didnt have the bomb.
I look back on the Civil war and am sad men died on either side. I would hate to think either side would have used nuclear weapons against the other.
I’ll bet there had never been another person arrested who had claimed to be injured, when they really weren’t. Right?
Ha, ha!
YOU LIE.
No. I didn’t.
Well, actually, yes, you did.
How, exactly, did I lie?
You didn’t tell the truth. That’s how.
What did I say that was not the truth?
Pretty much your whole reply was a fabrication.
Another evasive response. In other words, you can’t point to a single thing in my reply that was false. Hint: simply saying that it’s false doesn’t make it so.
Perhaps you would care to explain how a prosecutor’s charging decision and/or pre-charging investigation would be grounds for appeal?
heh... Her Nose In The Air, Head Cocked To One Side Honorable Blackness...
Her intentions are clearly to “Milk” this on and on....it’s smells to high heaven of politics, money, deals, and a host of other venues we’ll see......they’re already saying they’re going to dumping more money in these neighborhoods....LOLOL.
She did say she was living her dream of “changing the entire criminal system”
