I haven't posted in a while because I started doing projects that are more time intensive. I decided to stop doing graphics/memes for the most part, in favor of going back to my first love, illustration.
I still plan to do the occasional graphic like this one I created recently...
But I missed drawing and illustrating, and I essentially gave it up to create all of the graphics I've created over the years because I don't have time to do both. Anyway, here are a couple of pieces I was fairly happy with, and I wanted to share them here. :-)
Red Tape
Don't Make Sam Angry
Thinking Outside The Box
After Ted Cruz debuted his logo and the left sneeringly said it looked like a burning flag (as opposed to the real intent, to represent light) this idea popped in my head.
These, and more (including sketches and works in progress), are posted at my illustration blog.
The Cruz bit is REALLY Good.
Great work! Your messages wrapped in creativity are fine gifts to share. Thank you.
Great work! Much appreciated.
I much prefer your rendering Of the Ted Cruz Logol
the elimination of the red white and blue does indeed do the trick.
a single color unifies and clarifies the intent of the symbolic nature of the image!
Glad to see you're back with us.
Wow..!
Hulk is very original, very incisive.
NICE..!
good stuff!
The Flame logo would make a nice Cruz logo!
Like the Ted Cruz flame.
You always amaze me.
Love this one.
I like Uncle Sam on the Eagle. I’d love to see more versions of that one.
Well done!
Hillary one is a BURRRRRN! Love it!!!
Thank you all for the nice feedback. It’s been years since I’ve done this type of work and it ironically feels I’m drawing better than I ever have. The Photoshop stuff was fun, but I’m glad to be doing this stuff again.
