Comedian and radio personality Adam Carolla is apparently a big fan of Sen. Ted Cruz. During a Friday morning interview with the Texas Republican, Carolla approved of the presidential candidate and personally thanked him for wanting to outright abolish the Internal Revenue Service.
“Thank you so much for wanting to eliminate the IRS,” Carolla began the conversation. “It’s driving me nuts.”
“I think that is a powerful populist issue and today is the day when its on people’s minds,” Cruz said, reminding listeners that Wednesday was Tax Day.
Carolla argued that taxes are an important issue that gets overshadowed by other debates. “Here we are always talking about gay rights, or immigration, or whatever it is, the trans-gender community or something, fine,” he said. “But that doesn’t impact the entire country. This impacts literally everyone who is born in this country so it is a good place to start, in terms of policy.”
Cruz agreed: “A lot of the time what politicians are trying to do it to distract the voters with smoke and mirrors, rather than talk about the issues that really matter to their lives.”
The pair then delved into Cruz’s thoughts on the so-called “flat tax” proposal, his family history, Jeb Bush, and several other topics.
“TedCruz.org is where you go if you want to support Ted,” the comedian later said. “I want to support Ted. I love me some Ted Cruz.”

He’s a funny guy. Big conservative I think.

But if he really supports Ted Cruz, Adam Carolla is OK in my book.

Seeing knowledgable people like Jack Welsh and Carolla comment early is a real good sign. When people listen and don’t just rely on conventional DC thinking, Cruz is the right guy for the job. He’s only ‘extreme’ for people who aren’t paying attention or outright commies. For most Americans, he shares their approach to a less intrusive government. If only more people took the time to pay attention to facts and not the three ring media circus.
Ted Cruz is an extraordinarily charismatic figure. If he can win over a media figure like Adam Carolla, there is no limit to who he can win over!
Ted is a gauranteed Landslide winner ...IF the GOPe does not backstab him in the primaries or the general election.
Don’t underestimate Adam Corolla, he’s been a good guy since day one!

His boxing movie was decent. It was like a indy movie, but funny and funny in a non-cartoonish sort of way.
He did a show called the Man Show back in the 90s. Funny show, man jokes, beer drinking, and girls jumping on trampolines. Always liked him.
CRUZ or LOSE!Oh boy dis’ iz good. Now only if we could get the ultimate anti-Hollyweird guy to give him a nudge, aka Bill Murray. No chance IMHO, he voted for Ralph Nader at one point, but isn’t he also a flat taxer? Hmmm....

I read his book “President Me.” He’s more like a libertarian. The book is funny, but quite profane.
