The manager of an Ohio Chipotle restaurant on Wednesday said Hillary Clinton didnt drop money in the tip jar during her visit earlier this week.
Bloomberg reported that Charles Wright, manager of Chipotles Maumee, Ohio, location, said Clinton left no change after placing her order Monday afternoon.
Her bill was $20 and some change, and they paid with $21 and left, Wright said of the Democratic presidential candidates spending.
Clinton, who was on her way to Iowa, visited the Maumee franchise during its afternoon lunch rush alongside Huma Abedin, the vice chairwoman of her presidential campaign. Employees did not recognize either woman.
We get a bunch of tips, Wright, a GOP voter, said of his stores typical business. If were doing our job right, people tip.
Wright said the pair ordered a chicken burrito bowl, a chicken salad, a blackberry Izzy and a soda. After an employee rang them up, he added, Clinton did not cover the final total.
The other lady paid the bill, he said of Clintons companion. Clinton didnt pay.
The former secretary of State announced her campaign in a video released on social media Sunday.
Im running for president, Clinton said in Sundays video.
Everyday Americans need a champion, she continued. I want to be that champion.
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh raised the issue of Clintons tipping during his Tuesday broadcast. Her behavior was important, he argued, given the rhetoric of her campaign.
But I would like to know if she left anything in the tip jar, because that would be an indication that she understands the average, ordinary, everyman that she seeks to represent, Limbaugh said.
First of all, NOT tipping, especially when they planned to release “look, she eats at Chipolte!” Is tone deaf at best and shows a sense of entitlement at worst. Worth millions...slip a $20 into the jar (even if NOT using the stop as publicity) just in case anyone recognizes you. I have a relative who works in an upscale facility in Pittsburgh. A lot of very recognizable celebs hit town (usually for sporting events). The vast majority tip staff very nicely (they like their privacy) or have “people” with them that handle the “bills.”
Now...the dark glasses inside. I have worked retail waaaay to long to not be suspicious of anyone wearing such enormous shades INSIDE. My first thought when I see someone doing that “druggie?”
Whoever planned “Hillary in Iowa” is just awful at their job.
No one follows what us “little people” do. They had to have it planned (release surveillance film to media after the van leaves!) so why not make it look like “good” for Hillary? A $20 would be no big deal but leave a nice impression—the lack of ANY tip (from a gazillionaire politician) leads to discussions like this.
Yeah, Im not seeing the story here. I dont think Ive ever even seen a tip jar in a Chipotle.
But have you spent your entire life working to transfer wealth out of productive people's pockets and give it to others to buy votes?
What? We have to tip at fast food places now? I don’t like Hillary but I’ve never tipped at Chipotle.
Like Les Nessman said: "It was almost as if they were... organized!"
Maybe there are some nominally 1/32 Cherokee moles within the Preparation H camp. Whatever the case, it's been one clanger after another for a couple of days, but never fear- the MSM is on the job making sure the lo-fo voters don't pick up on it.

Don’t worry, Humer used Clinton Foundation money
paying is for the little people
as is driving, shopping, cooking, doing laundry, gardening
LOLZ...loving the WKRP reference there...Mr. Nessman WAS an investigative journalist.
I am intrigued by your notion of a Fauxcohontas infiltrator. Somebody sure is outing the missteps.
Its a fast food joint. If I have to read a menu off the wall, serve myself, seat myself and bus my own dishes why would I tip?
Okay, you get my vote for funniest post of the day. Good one!
I don’t tip the clerk at McDonald’s, why would I tip the clerk at Chipotle?
what tip? you order at counter/you pick up at counter from what i can see. it seems like self service to me. i wouldn’t tip either. can’t abide the woman - but this is a manufactured complaint imo.
I usually do. If there's a tip jar at the counter of any restraunt I usually put any silver I get back into it. Unless there's a jar for some charitable organization like March of Dimes or Jerry's Kids or something like that. Then I put my change in there. Mostly because I don't like carrying change in my pocket.
And if it's not a "Liz-ard" doing the deed, maybe it's someone working for, say, that big-eared guy from Hawaii/Indonesia/Kenya... or the Delaware space-invader.

It’s so refreshing to see a member of the ruling class hanging out with Anthony Weiner’s wife!
Of all the things to complain about with Hillary ... this one is a waste of time. I don’t tip at Chipotle either. Unless someone is waiting on my table and earning a waiter’s wage, I’m not tipping.
Sorry, but unless it’s sit down table or counter service, a tip is not required. It’s a crap Gibsmedat trend that’s developed in recent years.
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Wright was a Republican.
Time for a FAIR MINIMUM TIP!
Time for ZERO TIP.
C’mon!
Like most Americans, I don’t tip at a buffet or at a fast-food restaurant. The pimply kid in front of me rendered no added-value customer service beyond delivering what was promised by the vendor. This is simply a case of attempting to paint the customer in a bad light.
Would Bill Gates add a percentage-amount to his credit card payment when he slips the McDonald’s drive-thru? Doubtful.
Sorry but conservatives have bigger fish to fry with Hillary. This can only be seen as petty nit-picking.
