....A month or so ago, there were legitimate questions as to whether Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was up to speed on foreign policy and could project the gravitas we expect of presidential nominees. In an interview with Hugh Hewitt, he seemed a far cry from the candidate at CPAC. His answer on the Taliban trade and news of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahls desertion charge was solid......
Likewise,he explained why he prefers the term safety and gave an apt overview of what is happening in the Middle East:
Safety is something you feel inside your chest, you feel in your heart. And I think increasingly, Americans feel a sense of concern that particularly if they have family members or loved ones that ever want to travel again, they see France, they see Canada, they see other places around the world, not just the Middle East, and its a safety issue. And they, and then I would just add to this, as they look at this more closely, they see a president whos drawn a line in the sand and crossed it, who called ISIS just a year ago the jayvee squad, who called Yemen last fall a success story, who calls Iran now a place where we can do business. Think about how screwed up that is. I remember the movie in the 80s, Trading Places...you know, with Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy, its like Iran and Israel are trading places in the sequel. In the eyes of this president, our ally is supposed to be Israel. Our adversary has been historically Iran. And yet this administration completely does it the other way around. We need to call radical Islamic terrorism for what it is,and a commander-in-chief whos willing to act.
His has no trouble saying he would absolutely walk away from a faulty Iran deal.....

Hahahaha! Jennifer Rubin?
This is going to get weird for the leftists at the WashCompost. Building up other conservatives because they are afraid of Cruz? LOL!
I’m not dissing Walker, either. He’s definitely in the mix and would be a huge improvement over the Ubama.
Oldplayer
And endorsement from the Compost is the kiss of death as far as I am concerned.
Indeed - the Washington Posts’ version of David Brooks or Joe Scarborough...in a skirt. Oh, wait....they already wear skirts.
A stopped clock is right twice a day.
How did you like what Scott Walker said?
If I find his quote in another publication I’ll add it.
The Leftists are trying to do whatever they can to steer voters away from Ted Cruz. Expect to hear about the greatness of candidates other than Ted Cruz from now till election day.
Not in this case. She’s the Colonel Klink of politics. If she tells you to cut the blue wire, cut the red one.
She probably really likes Perry’s line about being a card carrying member of the AFL CIO. To Jennifer Rubin, that’s what a good Republican does - play nice with the enemies and pander.
But this is the hag who took it upon herself to run a one woman jihad against Newt last time when he was getting traction. She is anti tea party, anti base, pro establishment.
It’s BS. Rick Perry has been afk for months.
Cruz is moving the media to the right!
Why have so many freepers turned against Walker? Is it just because Cruz has announced?
It's not just the leftists. Fox News is parading every person they can saying there is no way Ted Cruz could win. Kinda ticks me off, they don't know. At the beginning who on earth even heard of Barack Obama? Even well into the primaries when I said he was going to get the Dem nomination, I was told I was crazy by folks here. You just never know who will get it and it's upsetting that they're trying to discourage people from even considering him for a candidate.
Please God, not HIM!
Rick Perry is a cheap labor importer.
Not sure about Walker yet. He now says he opposes amnesty, but he needs to clarify what he would do as President about the 30 million illegal aliens who have broken into our country and the border to prevent another 30 million illegal aliens.
Hugh Hewitt is on the payroll of The Cheap Labor Express as is Jennifer Rubin.
It would appear that the way they plan to champion Ted Cruz is by attacking Scott Walker.
It doesn’t help Cruz (who is a member in good standing for 2016 - as is Walker).
We all need to keep an open mind about both. I would hope ultimately they will pair up to get ALL the conservative votes instead of splitting the conservative vote. Either way, we need to get behind a possible winner or Jeb will end up with the nom.
Fox is part of The Ministry Of Propaganda. They are on board the Cheap Labor Express and are working to keep us from electing anyone who will stop the cheap labor importation that they refer to as immigration.
One of Scott Walker’s supporters is at the Huffington Post slamming Cruz:
