Anti-Muslim hate crime barely registers. Anti-Jewish, anti-black, anti-gay hate crimes are significantly more common, with antisemitic hate crime coming in at over 60%. But facts, reality and truth are hate speech now.
Faked hate leading to anti-freedom legislation.
Muslim anti-semitism on college campuses is rampant, but you never see resolutions, newspaper articles, prohibitions on that nazism.
One of the students wrote me, “I think you would be interested to know that Islamophobia is now officially at my school, the University of New Mexico. The same place where Nonie Darwish was harassed in 2012. Apparently a few days ago, a “Resolution 6S” was passed. Now anyone who opposes Islam is an ‘islamophobe’ at UNM.”
It speaks volumes that this resolution comes in the wake of the North Carolina parking dispute. A nasty neighbor’s rage over use of his parking space becomes “islamophobia,” even though the shooter said more than once that he preferred Muslims to Christians. And it didn’t take place on a college campus, either. It had nothing to do with Islam.
Nuts.
Resolutuon 6S bans “prejudice against Islam or Muslims, especially as a political force.” Sharia is political Islam — any rational human being who cherishes his or her freedom would do well to oppose it.
These young people should be working to purge the sharia from gender apartheid, creed apartheid and other Islamic practices, and to free people living under Islamic oppression. Today’s Peace Corps should be working to purge the sharia of oppression. Instead, these zombies are carrying water for the most extreme ideology on the face of the earth.

In the wake of recent attacks targeting Muslims on American college campuses and around the world, ASUNM unanimously passed a cautionary resolution at Wednesday’s meeting urging UNM administration to state their opposition to Islamophobia.
Sen. Udell Calzadillas Chavez, who introduced Resolution 6S, said there is a widespread culture of fear and ignorance that perpetuates violence against Muslims. The purpose of the resolution is to provoke better understanding of Islam in the UNM community.
“This is a proactive approach to events in the United States and around the world,” he said.
Citing domestic attacks against Islam such as the February killing of three Muslim students at the University of North Carolina and a Molotov cocktail being thrown at the Albuquerque Islamic Center last year, as well as the continuing fight against ISIS in the Middle East, the legislation states that UNM “should stand strong in opposition of Islamophobia and related hate crimes.”
The document defined Islamophobia as “dislike or prejudice against Islam or Muslims, especially as a political force.”
Ihsan Wadud-Rodriguez, a senior Psychology major and Muslim student, said prejudice is often driven by inaccurate and uninformed presumptions about Muslims and the religion they practice.
“Islam has been unfairly confounded with cultural practices,” Wadud-Rodriguez said. “Those very cultural practices which are not supported by Americans are also not supported by Islam. There’s no contradiction: I don’t experience any self-discrepancy between my American values and Islamic values.”
Wadud-Rodriguez said judgments shouldn’t be rashly conjured simply by the distinct appearance of a Muslim.
“I’m just hoping to spread understanding and have Muslim students feel more safe on campus and not have to worry if they seem like they’re affiliated with Islam,” she said. “If their name is Muhammad, if they’re wearing a hijab, then they’re going to be targeted.”
Wadud-Rodriguez said the UNC shooting deeply affected her and her fellow Muslims. Seeing that ASUNM immediately acted by writing an anti-Islamophobia resolution gave her assurance of the student governing body’s stance.
She said she didn’t know about the legislation until it was already written.
“I thought it was extremely mindful and just incredible, showing that kind of support for us,” she said.
Rameez Burney, a business graduate student and member of the Muslim Student Association, said he hopes the passage of the resolution will prompt University students to do their research on the Islamic religion and culture so that they realize their initial conclusions may be false.
“I definitely hope it’s a first step for us, to get out there and tell people that we understand what’s going on,” he said. “They can even come talk to us. We want to open people’s eyes to acceptance. There’s no cause for the fear and hysteria, it’s just unnecessary.”
Burney said the fact that UNM prides itself on being a diverse campus only emphasizes the resolution’s impact.
“It’s very necessary,” he said. “It opens that door. There is an impending danger, like what happened in North Carolina. We want people to feel safe about asking questions. To be a Lobo means to be accepted in the entirety of the University.”

This country is being Islamified at an astounding rate. Sharia is in the courts now. We have have whole towns are run under Sharia. Islamification been happening for years, but the process sped up a lot after our first Muslim president illegally took the Oath of Office.
I wish I could say Ozero is unique. Lots of people still don’t realize that many top DemoRATS have converted, including Hillary and Bill Clinton. It started in the late 70s when Jimmy Carter was introduced to Islam - and later converted - by Yassar Arafat. Harry Reid is also a secret muzzy.
with the myriad left wing, splinter groups getting their requirements in, how much of a valued education is actually available in our universities?
Any mention of the headless Christians in the resolution?

So signing up for the armed forces violates Rule 6s, as US armed forces are currently engaged against the “political force” of ISIS?
A significant source of Muslim recruiting, other than the prison system, are the campuses. Mush-brained hipsters can be used as cannon fodder on the protest lines as well...

Not that I have done so, but if I had, I’d now STOP giving money to the Alumni Association there.
I guess it won’t be long before the state changes it’s name to New Islamabad.
