Looking for downloadable, EASY to use portfolio tracker. Nothing fancy, just auto-updating table for stock and investment values.
yeah so...?
Go to:
You can set up one or more customized spread sheets for your holdings, and it automatically updates prices during trading hours.
I forgot to add that the Yahoo portfolio tracker is web-based. I don’t understand why you would want to use a downloadable portfolio tracker.
Does not allow you to enter number of shares you own.
Morningstar has all kinds of free stuff, check em out
No, that’s not true. The Yahoo portfolio tracker does allow you enter the number of shares you own, the purchase price and the commission fee you paid.
I like Ameritrade for my wife’s account. For municipal bond portfolio I just referred to EMMA and look at trade history.
Morningstar works pretty well.
Another vote for Yahoo!Finance. It tracks my mutual funds as well as individual stocks and stock indices.
I like the app RTStocks. Bloomberg Business also has one I like to track commodities, but I didn’t like it for individual stocks.
If you intend to update prices manually, it shouldn’t be too hard to make a spreadsheet with a few minor formulas.
