“Certainly, there is no single answer,” Kerry continued. “In our era, poisonous ideas can come from almost anywhere – from parents, teachers, friends, preachers, politicians – from the pretty woman on a radical website who lures people or the man in the next cell who proselytizes while in prison.

“They might grow from pictures seen on the nightly news or from acts of discrimination or repression that you don’t think much about on the day of occurrence, but which come back to haunt. It could come from the desire to avenge the death of a loved one,” he said.

“In some cases, they may come from a lost job or from the contrast between one family’s empty dinner plate and a fancy restaurant’s lavish menu. The poison might even come from within, in the form of rebellion against anonymity, the desire to belong to a group, people who want a moment of visibility and identity, or the hunger for black-and-white answers to problems that are very complex in a remarkably more complicated world.”

Got it John, ISIS terrorists are just another bunch of bitter clingers, kinda like those hicks in flyover country. Or maybe just rebellious yutes, sort of an Occupy Middle East. In Kerry's nuanced world the idea that they could really be devout Muslims who sincerely believe waging jihad is a sacred religious duty doesn't even get a mention as a possible motive.

Apparently those problems exist almost exclusively in Islamic communities.

The last “fancy restaurant” I visited had big golden arches in the parking lot!

This stupid man still hasn’t grasped that the Jihadis don’t want our things, they want us dead.

He failed to mention that Kosher style drives them over the cliff and must be stopped.

There was a trillion dollar study done that found this out. 99.9999% of Muslims do not eat Kosher and demand heads on spits for people that do.

Kerry and Imama are going to open up goat meat and camel humping restaurants or was that camel meat and goat humping restaurants.

Few want to consider that the moral rot of the West and its export to the wide world has, in effect, created a moral vacuum. Something will always fill a vacuum.

Geez....these people are doggedly loyal to the idiocy of this President. Even to the point of a SoS Barbie [Karf] making boneheaded assertions about what motivates ISIS-ites.

Now, we have “Monsieur Le Pantelones Fancie” yakking about haute cuisine is their problem. You just can’t make this stuff up! LOL.

That’s odd, JOHN, we find most truly poisonous ideas come from government! And you’re ignorantly mute on that subject as well...

I wonder how many terrorist had to dine on public school lunches designed by Michelle, as opposed to eating at some fancy private school in Washington DC

Savages have an empty dinner plate because they use all their energy and limited intelligence to rape, maim, burn, cut necks and yell and scream.

Kerry speaks of it as though the “grievances” of ISIS/AQ are something we should all have expected and so, shame on us.

Kerry used the term “wrongheaded”. Only liberals say that and it makes me furious when I hear it!
