Gospel songs rang through the sanctuary of a Florida church Sunday afternoon just before Trayvon Martin’s father exhorted the congregation to combat gun violence in black communities or risk losing a generation of young adults.

Tracy Martin told a “Black Lives Matter” ceremony at the Praise and Deliverance Church of God By Faith that while police shootings of young black men is a serious issue, it’s not the biggest one in black neighborhoods.

A far larger problem, Martin said, is the current generation of African-American children growing up without adult guidance and parental love.

Well, there is an answer to gun violence in black neighborhoods. Blacks should get guns and shoot the black thugs that prey on them dead. Of course, such radical measures are impossible in Democrat controlled cities with huge black on black crime and gun control to protect the thugs from their victims.

The problem is one major demographic, African-Americans, who commit a disproportionate amount of crime and violence but demand the same constitutional rights as every other group of Americans.

To "solve" the problem of black crime would mean subverting the constitution in a way. NYC, after recently electing their communist mayor, junked the stop and frisk program that target blacks and Hispanics....and worked.

At some point the majority of Americans will have to agree on a crime-deterrent program that will not be popular with leftist groups but will be effective. And it will probably be "unconstitutional."
