Last Monday retired Lt. Col. Tony Schaffer, citing unnamed military sources, told Bill O’Reilly that the Army was planning to charge Bergdahl with desertion. He claimed that his sources confirmed that were given a charge sheet. It didn’t take Obama’s spin doctors long to have the Pentagon lying and denying that any charges were filed or any charge sheet presented to Bergdahl’s attorney Eugene Fidell. At the time of writing Mr. Fidell declined to speak to the press. In a surprise move NBC cited an anonymous senior defense official who said that Bergdahl will be charged with desertion very soon.
Panic
The White House doesn’t want Bergdahl to be charged but rather be listed as a Prisoner of War to justify their idiotic trade of five Taliban terrorists for an alleged deserter. A court-martial would be very bad optics for the infallible public housing mullah of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and his JV Staff.
Semantics
But then, this White House considers the Taliban a group of armed insurgents, not a terrorist organization. So the idea of negotiating with the Taliban for Bergdahl is not a concession to a terrorist organization

Our Glorious Leader will never allow Comrade Bergdahl to be tried.
Bergdahl will get a lump sum payment of several hundred thousand dollars for back pay and then be quietly discharged.
Hang him high and let God sort things out!
But ho in the “army” is going to protest the White House interference and manipulations and lies?
WHEN the “Pentagon” protests this interference, THEN I’ll trust the Army again. But Obola’s “generals” and “admirals” ARE playing his game!

Watching this White House operate and it’s media trying to spin them out of their daily screw up has become a theater of the absurd.
Trade him back to his bearded buds for the Jordanian pilot, the Japanese hostage... and a future pick!
What is taking so long for the commanding General to make a decision? If you can’t make a decision General or if you are being pressured by the White House to stall, your ass needs to retire, NOW. You are unfit for command. Grow some balls General.
