You may remember my earlier thread from last week.
My Uncle Billy has died in the last hour.
Please pray for his soul (he was an atheist, turned from Catholic) and for his family, and my mom.
Mom is totally heartbroken over this and I fear so much for her health, especially mentally. She has endured much the last 2 years, the death of her other daughter, my questionable health, and now her brother's sudden death.
God stay with you and your family.
So sorry for your loss.
God is great and sees into the soul, even atheists.

Dear Lord, you have a child named William, or Billy as his family lovingly called him. He left your flock because of reasons we do not know but suspect it was due to the overwhelming disappointments we experience in life and he didn’t find You in the midst of them. He was probably angry and then quit believing that You loved him at all. We have all felt alone, angry and disappointed. You kew these feelings when You walked among us. I pray that You reach out to Billy and show him what he didn’t find in life. Show him the relationship he didn’t know he could have with you because it was not explained to him, in fact, his brothers in Christ are the ones that let him down not You. We failed to show him the Father, and the Son and therefore we plead to do what we failed to do...Accept him as Your own and to teach him Your ways and to welcome him into your flock once again in glory.
In the name that is above all names I pray....Jesus, Amen.

That is the problem. We cannot find them. His daughter and apparently all of them (all 8) do not know his ID and my uncle has a TON of stuff. Not organized, either. I fear we will try rifling through his tons and tons of stuff trying to find personal things such as records. He was a lawyer, and highly intellectual. Huge library, lots of records from lawyering and also from his many pie-in-the-sky schemes over the decades.
My cousin thinks eventually they will sort it out but we may need to bury him next to my sister in my parents’ plot in a church cem.

So very sorry to read this, OlLine Rebel. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Perhaps there is a measure of comfort in knowing that this was so sudden that he was able to live his life to the end.
The beautiful “Rockwell” photo of your Uncle Billy deserves to be posted on this thread as well.
