Environmentalists held rallies on Monday outside of Carper’s and Bennet’s offices, telling them a "yes" to the project would mean “game over” for a safe climate.

A "safe climate", what a crock!

What is the Erfs optimum temperature?

Whatever gets the Democrats the most under-the-table "campaign contributions" from OPEC.

Odd.

Obola is claiming he “MUST FOLLOW” the law on the pipeline reviews/reviews/reviews/reviews ... but he must break the laws that he doesn’t like ...

Senate Democrats agreed to Tuesday’s vote as a gift to Landrieu...and lift her to a victory in her run-off election...

That's all this is, something to help Miss Piggy's reelection chances. Should the bill pass, it's a guaranteed veto. So it's meaningless as legislation.

Yes. The Republicans needed to support this bill. But it's nothing to get excited about.

Now if the bill contained language removing it from judicial review, it passed, and Obama signed it, then it's time to be excited!

I have a couple of questions. Why does it need 60 votes? Is it possible that this is hyped up drama to show how valuable Landreiu is before her runoff?

Well, the mysterious number 60 should be seeing an avalanche of goodies for the vote.

It would need 60 votes if Harry Reid decided to filibuster it.

Yes. It's so she can prove how independent and valuable she is to the voters of Louisiana.

The problem, for her, is that her opponent in the run-off SPONSERED the bill in the House.

She's working overtime to get a Senate super-majority on HIS legislation.

Nothing, literally nothing, can save her. LOL

Nah. The rats know what they're doing. This was all for Laundry. She knows it won't pass but she thinks she'll get credit for trying. They'll fall in line when the Pubies take over. It's doubtful all of them will vote for it when it actually has a chance.

The Republican controlled Senate can pass it in January.
