Obama Aide: 'He Doesn't Feel Repudiated'

In the wake of historic congressional midterm losses that cost Democrats control of the U.S. Senate, President Barack Obama's inner circle says he remains defiant and unwilling to face the seismic post-election reality.

"He doesn't feel repudiated," an Obama aide told the New York Times' Peter Baker.

Whether Democrats can convince Obama to back off his threats to go it alone in enacting executive amnesty in the wake of Democrats' Tuesday night election debacle remains to be seen. But for now, Obama insiders say he remains fixed on maintaining the status quo. Indeed, even before Tuesday night's results rolled in, Obama blamed the looming losses, not on his unpopularity dragging down Democrats, but on the electoral map.

The American people just popped Obola's bubble, and he still ignores them.

As long as he has Grima Wormtongue (ValJar) whispering in his ear, Obama will remain inflexible and hate-filled.

The Dims will have to be dragged kicking and screaming for that to happen................

No doubt. But he's delusional enough to leave them no choice. They ran away from him during the election, and if the Madness of King Obama becomes a public liability to the party now, they'll do it.

They won't fall on their swords for him.

“He doesn’t feel repudiated,” an Obama aide told the New York Times’ Peter Baker. “

Yes translated that means he’s too stupid to realize he’s been repudiated.

“Elections have consequences.”

Somebody please remind him.

Preferably by playing back his own video.

Obama will speak to the Nation this afternoon, around 2:50 pm.

Would be interesting to see how this manchild’s fragile psychic take the beating last night and deal with reality.

Sociopaths need not ever feel repudiation because they have done nothing wrong.

Captain Bligh Hussein Obama. Even if the men won’t have it he will go around the Horn. And the RINOS are the pandering officers that do his bidding. Cruz could be Christian but he doesn’t have enough men.

Yes, you (and lots of others, us) saw that too.

Esp. from Jarrett. Otherwise, Obama would not know how to handle day to day function.

you said...
“If he is really defiant like this and unwilling to face reality, I can see the Democrats having to let him go.

I can see them approaching Boehner and McConnell and putting together a group to tell him he is no longer politically viable and giving him a choice of resigning or being impeached.

Just the same as what happened with Nixon.”

More than likely, I see were they join the GOP on legislation in order to save their own necks. For example, legislation to chip away at ObamaCare will now not only pass the House, but the Senate. The president is fully expected to veto any attempt to do this. The GOP does not have enough votes to override the veto but they may, especially after last night's results, get enough Democrats to join them in order to save their own necks. Are they willing to fall on the sword for an unpopular and defiant president and vote for ObamaCare again? Harry Reid isn't going to protect them anymore

I agree this is a possible scenario. I'm sure it was not welcome among Democrat congress critters, to hear that Obama is going to draw swords. There could be a tremendous upside for a Democrat to heed the will of the people and be part of eliminating Obamacare from the political landscape.

I'm thinking Manchin, Mark Warner (Presidential aspirations) and others could turn our way on Obamacare.
