In at least two polling locations, voting machines are changing votes for Pat Roberts to votes for Greg Orman.
The machines were located in Overland Park, Kansas. Both changed votes to Orman, but did not change votes from Orman to Roberts.
According to a local report, voters who noticed that their votes were changed were allowed to vote again.
The Johnson County Election Office confirmed that they were aware of the issue and were looking into the matter.
They said "the voter was allowed to vote on another machine" and the broken machine, which they said was calibrated wrong, was then fixed and put back out for voters.

And if this effects the results they may just trigger open revolt.

And how is your ballot counted? You have no idea if your ‘mark’ was translated into the vote you intended ...

Did that “erroneous” vote register? If it did, then they would have to vote again...twice...once to cancel the error and a second time to submit a correct vote.
If things don’t go as predicted, this may be one of those defining moments wherein the electorate (some of it, at least) took matters into its own hands. Out and out, premeditated, widespread fraud. The anger is growing.
Devices that measure something are calibrated. For example, a meter (such as a speedometer, anemometer, volt-meter, or thermometer) is calibrated. A touch-screen might be calibrated to require a specific pressure be applied in order for a touch to be detected.
Recording a vote incorrectly is an algorithmic error. This could be caused by a program defect or by a configuration/setup error.
“Calibration error” has become the standard excuse. Election officials need to stop with the deflections and explain EXACTLY what the problem is. They also need to explain why, since it is so quickly and easily corrected, the error existed in the first place. People need to be held to account. They need to be prosecuted and sent to prison.

I would certainly hope that this happened without there Wrong vote being counted. Because if not then there new vote would be nothing more than a cancellation of the wrong vote.
I wonder how many times that happens (votes actually cast) vs. how many times voter are *told* that, just to keep registered Republicans from voting.
Then somehow they all vote D at the end of the night after the polls close. As you stated,

The fact that this CAN happen, that it EVER happens is sufficient reason do do away with electronic ballots. The Dems go nuts, hang up an entire election, because there could have been a few hanging chads yet this is happening everywhere and no one knows how many of us have been disenfranchised.
If Republicans win, their first order of business should be to ban electronic voting.
My state, CT also does paper ballots.
It didn't occur to me that there was no "glitch" but vote tampering.
FYI advance voting heavy (certainly my poll site had lines all day) across Johnson Co., Kansas (250,00) consisting mostly if Republicans.
Hello back, and I don’t know about how that works, either. Seems if they can’t remove the machine ‘error’ vote, it may be the only time one could legally be allowed to vote twice. What a t-shirt that would make [I LEGALLY VOTED FOR (R) TWICE!], sure to pop liberal heads every time you wear it! Snicker... Although there are many who could wear shirts claiming multiple votes, theirs are all illegal!
I’m opening a voting machine calibration business immediately. Seems to be a great need.
We know they hung up the works as it gave them a free opportunity to do their dirty work on those ballots.
Bingo!! Every precinct needs to be contested, the errors investigated to convictions, and the election redone. This is infuriating! And the GOPe better be leading this charge!
There it is! As an engineer, this has NOTHING TO DO WITH CALIBRATION!! It is outright programmed FRAUD!!!
Right you are! I am a longtime software developer and this is blatant vote fraud on the part of the democrat party, period.
Calibration is tweaking a pot, this is programmed vote theft.
