Last week we reported on claims coming out of Chicago that Republican votes were being counted for their opponents. Jim Moynihan blew the whistle on the potential fraud:
Speaking of vote fraud, the Great 2014 Vote Fraud has already begun.
In Illinois, early voting began on Monday, Oct. 19, 2014. So Republican state representative candidate Jim Moynihan went to vote at Chicagos Schaumburg Public Library using a touch-screen voting machine. Every time he tried to vote for a Republican, including for himself, the machine registered his vote as for a Democrat. (Read more here.)
Now there is a similar report coming out of Maryland. CBS Baltimore reports:
Early voting just started last week in Maryland, but there are already accusations that some voting machines are changing Republican votes to Democrat. Now Republicans are calling for an investigation by the State Board of Elections.
Meghan McCorkell has more on the machine controversy.
As Marylanders go to the polls, there are concerns that the vote you cast may not be for the candidate you want.
Weve heard from scores of citizens in our district and around the state who have had this problem where they hit one button to vote for one person, and when they go to the summary they see that the other person was checked, said Del Nik Kipke, (R) Anne Arundel County.
Republicans say theyve received several dozen reports of Republican votes being changed to Democrat.
Since it has been revealed that 44,000 people are registered to vote in both Virginia and Maryland, it might behoove those people to pick Virginia this year.
Could it be a problem with the machines? Sure. But I think RedState User Jake sums it up best in his blog post:
Its curious that some of the machines that were reported to have problems were out of service. Its entirely possible that these problems are merely accidental issues with calibration.
However, Id also like to note that every instance of trouble with these voting machines that I recall seeing in the news involves turning Republican votes to Democratic ones, and they always seem to be in areas dominated by Democrats. Its never the other way around.
This morning, Dr. Eowyn also reported an instance in Arizona where a man was caught stuffing hundreds of absentee ballots into the ballot box. Despite the appearance of impropriety there will be no investigation into the matter.
Whether these particular instances of perceived vote fraud are real or have some logical explanation, there are many documented cases of fraud that have seemingly changed election results.
A few slaps on the wrist have been handed out, but not enough is being done to fix the growing problem or to fix the results of elections.
The Republican party never seems too eager to legally pursue cases of vote fraud.
Who is to say that the tabulation is correct and only shows a R vote on the screen but counts it as a D vote internally?
I do not know the answer but here is my shocked face
:o
Have always said the only way Obama could have won his second term was by cheating. This is how it was done....along with the early voting scams.
The fools assume only 1 D rings up with an R.
Several will, pulled by criminal illegals
voting several times.
The DO”J” has told them they will profit from it.
I suspect these are pretty good indicators of the weight and state of beltway republican thinking this election year.
Vote Fraud should not be just a Felony, it should be TREASON and prosecuted as such because it undermines the WHOLE SYSTEM!
Electronic voting machines can be rigged in any or all fashions.
Here is a plan where this is happening:
Contact your SOS office and tell them that this is happening. Go in a huge mob and confront whomever that person is.
Stand outside of the polling place (at the required distance) with a huge sign citing what is happening, and stop everyone going in and alert them that the polling machines there are doing this, and to watch what you are doing.
If you know this is happening where you live, and aren’t doing anything, then you are just as much part of the fraud as the machine.
Fraud is rampant and it never favors republicans because you just don’t hear much about it tabulating votes for the right. I would say since most of the machines and the system used now is owned by companies who favor the left then it is strictly aiming at fraud in that direction.
Voter fraud? There ain’t no stinken’ voter fraud! Unless Obama prosecutes a Republican or conservative for it!
Democrats stole the 1994 gubernatorial race in Maryland. Anthony Brown (”If it’s Brown, flush it.”) is so desperate that they’re stealing it this year too. It may work, but Hogan has all the momentum.
I agree. And charge the mayor, town council, and governor of the state it occurs in.
Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.
Not at all.
The disaster is just complaining about it and doing nothing.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
