I’m a cop.
A few weeks ago, two of my beat partners and I were called to an apartment in a fairly nice complex to help a mother and father with their 16-year-old son.
The son had no criminal history, and by all accounts was a decent kid. But he was having some problems at home — breaking things and making threats with a knife — and the parents needed our help.
When we finally located the son, who is of mixed ethnicity (dad is white, mom is Hispanic), he instantly began cussing and yelling at us. He took a fighting stance and said he was not going to do anything we told him.
Luckily, we were able to calm him and get him into handcuffs without any blows being thrown.
We asked why he was so hostile towards us. His response? Ferguson. The cops could not be trusted because of what happened in Ferguson, Missouri. He told us that he wanted to kill all white cops because of what “they” had done to Michael Brown....

Police should redline black neighborhoods nationwide. Only black cops should be allowed in, and then only voluntarily.
It seems like the only way to meet the media/racialists demands. But of course they won't like this answer either.
Perhaps the only thing that would meet with community approval is if cops tossed bundles of taxpayer cash out the windows of their cruisers as they patrolled, and if asked offered themselves up as a human sacrifice in order to entertain the local youths.
They should not have Tasers and war equipment. They should return to community policing strategies, attitudes and practices. They should turn against cops who are jacked up idiots and stop protecting them.
They need to stop trying to make thugs their cause instead of innocent victims then.
That does not pass the smell test. Where I live, Hispanics could not care less what happens to Blacks and Blacks could not care less what happens to Hispanics.

I’ve only lived in a city “up North” once, as a kid when my dad was stationed there-but what you describe does not sound like something good.
I suppose there are not the sharp ethnic and racial lines here anymore because at least in rural SW Texas and parts of NM, people started marrying across ethnic lines about 300 years ago-many of us from all ethnic backgrounds in rural areas learned the Spanish dialect used here at home as kids-we speak it to each other just because we can, and in winter, we get tourists from Mexico who buy from our businesses-the owner of a feed store speaks it as well as I do-his parents were from India...
One of the reasons for the increased trampling on everyone’s rights by cops is-just as it was in the 60’s and 70’s-the race hustlers like Sharpton and Jackson agitating and getting into every situation, and they need to be shut down, period...

The Blacks I talked to in Plant City had a great deal of resentment toward Mexicans who were here. Everything to the Mexican boys messing with their[Blacks] girls and not letting their girls [Mexican] mess with Black boys on.
Baloney. The kid is just a pathetic loser looking for an excuse to do violence. If Michael Brown didn't exist he'd find something else to vent about -- because he can't accept that nobody but himself is responsible for him being a loser.
Are you implying that police officers need to act like mindless thugs, abusing the public, in order to go after mindless thug criminals? I have lived too long to fall for that crap.
They can either stop the occupying military force fighting a terrorist ring or “lone wolf” attitude given to them by Homeland inSecurity and start respecting the safety, constitutional rights and dignity of the American people, or they will have the likes of stupid lefties like Jesse Jackson “supervising” them. They have to be retrained and police academies have to change. Jackson will endanger them.

The cops aren’t doing anything while the crowds call for their lynching, revolution, kill whitey et al.
If those are the 2 sides, I’m with the cops.
If a cop does something wrong he should be punished for it. Killing a gang banger thug in self-defense ain’t it.
You act as if this is happening to innocent people all the time, then find one of those innocent people to protest for. Find a new hero, find someone else to make your martyr than some ghetto thug scumbag.
Strong Arm robbery and assaulting a cop is not a constitutional right.

I did not say I support the race baiters in Ferguson. I’m saying that the Jackson mob is playing on that knowing the police are acting up unjustly around the country. I could care less about Ferguson and will wait for the Grand Jury to decide. If they riot, they will be burning down their own town...as usual.
It will give black racists all over the country the excuse to attack innocent whites. That’s because it is about race and not about the criminal justice system.
So you witnessed the Michael Brown/Darren Wilson incident? Have you testified before the Grand Jury yet?

Exactly. This is nonsense. He is using that as an excuse. Thugs and punks are always afraid of cops.
I have a lot more confidence in local police doing the right thing than you. As a matter of fact, I trust a police officer more than anyone else in government. I know there are a few bad apples who surface from time to time, but cops in general do a great job keeping the peace. My hats off to them!!
