Dallas County Sheriff Deputy Michael Monnig went to an urgent care clinic in Frisco, Texas with his wife on Wednesday
A witness at the clinic described him as 'hunched over and flushed'
Ebola test results are due back Friday evening
The deputy was inside the apartment where Ebola patient Thomas Duncan fell ill - the officer wasn't wearing protective clothing
The CDC said the person is not one of the 48 contacts being monitored
Liberian national Mr Duncan, 42, died from Ebola on Wednesday morning
CDC officials have told Monnig's family there was 'no risk' he had been exposed to the disease

Yes, that was an earlier report from yesterday. The source I use was from the hospital noon today.
I do find little to support the Ebola tests are definitive prior to symptoms. Some of the test can be negative for 3 days of symptoms before confirming Ebola.

What about his wife too

This incident will shed a lot of light on the disease:
1) If the sheriff has it, and did not come into contact with Duncan, then it would just about prove that the mantra that “you have to come into direct contact with bodily fluids to catch Obola” is a bunch of hokum.
2) If he has it, and the family doesn’t, then this raises a LOT of questions. My understanding is that the family used a lot of bleach to clean themselves after being near Duncan, but I can’t verify that. If so, then this will prove to be reasonably easy to deal with. If not, then why aren’t they infected and the sheriff is?
3) If none of them are actually infected, then it would appear that the CDC’s mantra about direct contact being necessary to contract Obola is true.
Any way you look at it, we’ll know in a couple of weeks for sure.
I’m curious about the lady who was walking by as Duncan’s vomit was being power washed into the street, and also about the member of the “highly trained hazmat crew” who had a bottle of blue Gatorade near the receiving end of the power washing spray. Let’s see if they get infected.
Unfortunately, I’m not too good at HTML, despite the pretty clear instructions in the HTML Sandbox...but the picture is the 2nd one down at http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2014/10/what-ebola-quarantine-photo-shows-person-delivering-food-to-texas-ebola-victims-family/
He was an ordinary American - maybe he would have 'panicked' if he thought ebola was dangerous. Better to let him, his wife and his children die... can't risk panic. /s
We've all seen the movies of people when they panic... ask the idiots at the CDC what matters more: people dying or people panicking.... they'll go with 'panic'.
Wasn’t his entry for a Quarantine Court Order the stupid Dallas County Judge (who later went to visit them and didn’t see any need to de-contam before going home to his family) wanted them to sign as a show of goodwill?
Good to hear!
LOL!!
He was in the apartment, walked on the floor, and probably bumped into one or more contaminated surfaces. Then he went home and undressed without taking normal Ebola precautions. All of that puts him at serious risk.
How can these tests be taking so long when we keep hearing about suspected Ebola persons being cleared ( or false alrm ) in a couple of days on the news.
The CDC continues to hang it’s hat on Ebola not contagious by those not experiencing symptoms.
But I thought it was hard to catch.
Just heard the deputy did NOT test positive for Ebola.
He ate too many donuts.
Ebola Test Negative For Dallas County Deputy

Thanks for the link. It’s my understanding that it’s still possible for him to have it, but not be positive yet...Is that right from what you know?
