Reporter Nelufar Hedayat looks at the terrible conditions dogs are forced to live in just to keep the black market in dog meat supplied

A shocking new TV documentary will reveal how hundreds pet dogs are being stolen every day in Vietnam for the lucrative dog meat trade. Unreported World shows disturbing evidence of how dogs are stolen, force-fed, kept in cramped cages and slaughtered for meals. Here, reporter Nelufar Hedayat exclusively reveals the horrors she witnessed.

The smell of dog and filth permeated the whole room along with frantic, high-pitched barking from the hundreds of dogs crammed into the large metal caged room.

Inside, line upon line of smaller crates were already packed with dogs who seemed to be vomiting rice onto the wet floor.

I watched the clip via Drudge yesterday and have been sick ever since, I fell to my knees and prayed for them, I asked God how he could allow this?? Then very shortly, very shortly it was clear to me that it was NOT God but man that has done this.

I was not blaming God, was just asking Him how he could allow it, maybe I was for a moment but asked for forgiveness anyway.

There will be justice at the end for everything, meanwhile I figure I can just keep them in my prayers, ask God to at the very least make it quick for them if they can not get a miracle escape.

Aside from prayer have to thank the people that are bringing this to our attention and hope the world can shame them to stop?

They have no shame for aborting babies etc so why would they be shamed for anything. Hey there seems to be no shame in this country as well.

We need Jesus to return and end all the suffering, that`s all I can think of

As bad as it is dogs in Vietnam rank very low on a list issues that need addressing.

We'll address the dogs here and leave that other list to another thread that you can personally host...........Fair enough?

Proverbs 12:10 (New King James Version)A righteous man regards the life of his animal, But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.’

Yes I know this was not the Scripture you were referring to but it`s a good one

God Loves the animals even more than we do, and I am sure they ALL have eternal life.

For us to think not, I think is to think less of God

Just what we can say to people that have other ideas

I’d go for rat before dog or cat also, just have to make sure it is cooked really well to kill off any parasites & microbes. Every rodent I have eaten was pretty good though. Tree rats are kind of tough but tasty. Rabbits are fantastic. The big swamp rats from South America are supposed to be pretty good, can’t remember their name, the Catholic Church was convinced to designate them as “fish” so they could be eaten on Fridays. I wouldn’t mind trying one, but I tend to like to try different meats.

However after trying coon and bear I have come to the conclusion that mammals that eat meat do not digest well. Both tended to just sit in my stomach for hours and I have no desire to repeat the process. But if you are starved or near starvation for long periods of time I suppose that that feeling would be better than the feeling of hunger.
