As the international media and law enforcement authorities begin to investigate how a man who had contracted the Ebola virus in Liberia came to arrive in Texas, new details are surfacing about Thomas Eric Duncan and his voyage to the United States. Before coming to America to visit family, Duncan worked at a FedEx from which he was dismissed, after which he decided to "just go" to Texas.
According to new details given to the Liberian Observer by someone close to Duncan, Duncan did not leave Liberia with any outward symptoms of the disease. His decision to leave the country, according to the source, followed his dismissal from a job at FedEx Liberia, in early September. By then, he had already received a visa to visit a relative in Texas (USA), so he decided to just go, according to the source.
The Observer does not note that the source elaborated on what he meant-- whether Duncan had decided to "just go" and attempt to stay in the United States or take advantage of the lack of work hours to leave the country. He also did not discuss the job at FedEx or, specifically, whether the job exposed him to items and packages that could be sent worldwide. Without a job, however, it would be slightly more unreasonable to consider taking a vacation, only to return to unemployment....

Because we live in a "global world," according to The Commie's press flack.
No kidding.
I’m guessing the hospital trip was Sept 3rd . . .
He KNEW he was EXPOSED.
People around him were DYING DAILY.
He KNEW there was NO ROOM at his LOCAL hospital.
He KNEW that IF he stayed THERE he would DIE.
He KNEW that the AMERICANS who were treated HERE LIVED.
He knowingly and willingly FLED his INFECTED SELF to the USA for TREATMENT.
We are now facing flesh-and-blood EBOLA BOMBS as people who KNOW they are incubation disease FLEE to US for treatment.
IF we dont SHUT DOWN travel to the US from infected countries, it will be EVERYWHERE soon.
Good Question!
WTF! So you get fired or dismiss you either behead or spread an act of love around. I Pray this is not going to be the norm.
Nope. The 15th.
He flew out on the 19th, apparently on a ticket purchased on September 2 Certainly his visa application process probably started back in July or before.

COBRA is a US law. Who knows what kinds of insurance-continuation law they have in Liberia....
I believe you have the correct sequence of events and the very likely outcome if we do not act as you suggest.
Exactly right.
He decided to ‘Just go’ and we decided to ‘Just let him in’.
Most of us are more concerned about our families than the First Family.
The latter can easily be replaced.
Biological warfare...?
look at the facts- diseases from Central America, including TB, Entervirus, scabies, etc....
And now this- the creme de le creme- EBOLA,for Godsakes, a level 5 hot virus coming to a town near you.
God help us.....
He knew he was sick and would get better care in the US
I thought he worked for UPS?
‘He quite’ his job first week in September.
Days before he became the first person diagnosed with Ebola on American soil,Duncan answered “no” to questions about whether he had cared for a patient with the deadly virus.
Before leaving Liberia,
.... Duncan also answered “no” to a question about whether he had touched the body of someone who died in an area affected by the disease,..... said Binyah Kesselly, board chairman of the ‘Liberia Airport Authority’.
These people continue to change their stories....they cannot be trusted.
If the guy lives the Liberian authority “will seek to prosecute” if Duncan lied on his health screening questionnaire before leaving West Africa.
This could mean deportation and the family members know this so they are not going to be forthcoming with any “right” information about him or themselves if it looks like it could go against them.
I’ve listened to Duncans brother with reporters now on two seperate occasions....his story keep changing.
I agree with your post and wonder also, if he does live, how many will find out and try to follow in his footsteps? If they can get here, that is.
He was planning on getting some of that Zmapp and staying here.
Oh, absolutely right. But as I say, these guys are dreadful enough about taking care of the VIPs. How serious do you think they are about taking care of us peons?
I saw both UPS and FedEx. Maybe they have some combined operations in the smaller foreign nations.
