The title of this video is the German Army in WW2 (IN COLOR). However, its the British, the Russians, the U.S. and the Germans. Ive seen a lot of WWII real life footage, but it amazes me that I still see new footage. Watch it in full screen mode (just left click the bottom right square in the video when it's playing) seems to make it more real vs. just looking at the current smaller size.

Very interesting.
I remember the Beaches. Men screaming in rage, fear and despair. Some crawling on their bellies trying to escape without being seen. That's the last time I let my wife take me to a Barbra Striesand movie.

That one had me LOL!
How again does one take and hold ground, solely from the skies?
The eastern front and”Post D-Day”in France.
No I did not but that is funny.
Exactly!
Thanks for that info.
Yeah I was wondering if it was in Italy, Germany or Battle of the Bulge in some of the shots. Figured a Freeper would know. Thanks again.

German Army? It’s got T-34s and Shermans in lots of the clips. Nice video though...
I think that this is a mismash collection of footage that’s been colorized. I’ve seen some of it before in B&W. It includes Normandy, the Bulge, Market Garden, and various Eastern Front stuff.
Every time I see videos such as this one, I wonder how many of the men in them actually made it home.
Same here.... My bet is that most of them were killed sometime during the war.

It was explained to me that those were German civilians forced to transport ammo and supplies to the front with the threat of execution if they refused.
IIRC, an American astronaut recollected doing that (strafing German females). John Glenn maybe?
