On August 10, 2014, outraged protesters looted and torched the local QuikTrip in Ferguson after 18 year-old Mike Brown was shot dead.
Now local Ferguson residents are warning officials to rebuild the businesses, Or, theres gonna be hell to pay.
CBS interviewed three young men in Ferguson, Missouri this week. One protester Gunny warned officials:
To be honest, if they dont come and restore these neighborhoods for these people, like when you gotta go travel miles to Walmart and to get gas and stuff like that, it should be right here. If they dont restore this community for people who stay here its gonna be hell to pay
A second protester chimed in:
Yeah, thats why people looting, because they cant get no jobs.

They should have thought about that before looting and burning the businesses that were in their neighborhood, the dummies. Let them do without.
Hey guys! It’s the cost of being stupid.
Oh. Hell. No.
Actually, it’s not up to officials. It’s up to the business owners. If i were them, I’d reopen elsewhere.
The legacy of Al Sharpless and Jesse Jackass.
Ferguson protestors: f you.
The mind boggles at the logic at work in that “community”.
All the companies that the scum bags looted and vandalized should come back, re invest and rebuild their burnt out and vandalized shops , “Or Else”.
Or else what?
The “community” will further burn and vandalized the already wrecked businesses.
The fine members of the “community” need to live and wallow in the slop hole they have created
QuikTrip doesn’t franchise so it’s completely up to the head office in Tulsa.
Un-freakin’-believable.
I agree with previous posters here on this thread.
Businesses are stupid to rebuild there. I wouldn’t. It will just be looted and destroyed again.
I wouldn’t want any of my tax money going towards rebuilding it.
These people need to learn to take care of their neighborhood and their own personal belongings.
I don’t expect them to learn that lesson.
Hadn't thought of it that way. Hell yeah, rebuild. The sooner the better!
They destroyed them.
They should have to rebuild them themselves.
This is a perfect example of where entitlement mentality leads.
Live with the hell hole you created or fix it yourself and apologize to the owners of the stores you destroyed.
you broke it you fix it.
I'd think many business owners will take that insurance money and open up somewhere else.
Once bitten, twice shy.
Reap what you sow!
No wonder. And as long as your brothers keep voting dummiecrat, you'll never have to worry about it.
The modern Democrat party has insulated its supporters from reality for so long, and shielded them from the consequences of their bad behavior for so long, that this viewpoint is no surprise at all.
Where do I get my Malt and Newports?
