You are forgiven. I was first in Slovakia around 2002, while hopping around central Europe. I settled in Bratislava in Jan. 2005. In 2009 I left for the Philippines, where I have married and started another life.
While in Bratislava, I had quite lucrative work as an English conversation tutor in banks and businesses.
A fellow tutor from Bratislava has just arrived in my Philippine town to start his next life.....very small world.
Oh, Czech/Slovak is, in my mind, the best of central Europe.

Most British women I communicated with are quite manly and on the other hand most British men are looking and acting uncomfortably feminine.
It is not universal of course, some British chicks are really gorgeous but they are an exception.

Generally speaking, it seems to me most single women have long hair whereas married women have short hair. . .from what I’ve seen.
As people get older, many of them have thinner and more brittle hair. Having long miserable thin strands of hair hanging down looks pathetic and will even make a woman look like she’s crazy or homeless, because that’s what old female drug addicts do with their hair—nothing. So we start cutting it. I swear mine won’t be cut shorter than my shoulders and I would give anything to have long thick shining blonde hair down to my backside once again, but time waits for no one and I may be forced to cut it. So that is why most middle-aged women have short hair.
Ahhh. . .thanks, so I wasn’t imagining it. . .of course, I don’t have to worry about old brittle hair. . .as a male I have the typical male pattern baldness thing going on.
