I Want My White Hat Back
http://israelmonitor.com ^ | August 8, 2014 | Norma Zager

Americans have always grown up believing we are the good guys. We fight the wars of the righteous, help the oppressed and free the world from despots and evil dictators.

I am seriously wondering when all that had changed.

Do I have to dig up John Wayne to do battle with evil? Isn’t anyone up to the challenge anymore?

It is no longer an assumption that America is on the right side of history, because now it seems we are on the wrong one or can’t even find the sides at all.

When good men ignore evil and allow it to run free, well you know the rest.

Recent ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas were held and brokered in Egypt after John Kerry botched the previous ones. He wasn’t even invited to participate.

Wow, America not part of the solution?

Obviously we have now become part of the problem.

When America does wrong, its size and power exacerbate its foibles. In the last six years, the U.S. has turned its back on allies, ignored murder and genocide in numerous countries and enabled the most evil Empire on earth to soon obtain nuclear capability.

Am I living in a parallel universe? Can this actually be happening? Sadly, it is.

The U.S. left Iraq to the devices of terrorists and Islamic extremists with no plan in place to protect what American men and women fought and died to protect. And we thought Sadam Hussein was a jerk?

Syria has murdered close to 200,000 of its people, Pakistan has taken billions in payoff money and thrown the US under the bus and Africa, well, is even more problematic than it has ever been.

The United Nations is a total failure and joke in the world, but we continue to support this pathetic sideshow to the tune of two billion plus a year.

Americans are murdered, kidnapped, falsely imprisoned and no one says a peep.

Our borders are open to anyone who feels like strolling over, at a time when America has more enemies who seek its destruction than Colorado has pot plants. Am I dreaming here?

The happiest man on planet earth right now is Vladimir Putin because it is free day for him. And America thinks it is going to stop Mother Russia with a few missing chickens?

Jews and Christians are being murdered all over the world, and the President hops on a plane to inhale clam chowder on Martha’s Vineyard and schmooze with celebrities.

I don’t have enough room on my computer anymore to list all the horrors going on in this world. What the hell happened to our white hat? Did we give it away to all the evil dictators of the world?

Sure, all of us in the civilized world would like to return to the past when our biggest problem was Cuba harboring nukes. When a US president could back Russia down with a phone call.

Ignoring the craziness only intensifies its growth.

Hitler didn’t burst on the scene like a 15-minute rock star but was duly elected by the German people.

That’s the scariest part of all. When people elect their own destroyer. Sort of like a worldwide StayPuff Marshmallow man marching through the planet, and now sadly squashing churches and synagogues in his wake.

The Palestinian people chose Hamas, a terrorist organization, through an election, in lieu of a more moderate government, and now when it has come back to bite them, they blame everyone else for their foolish choices.

Do most Jewish people probably wish Israel was located somewhere less dangerous, like Miami Beach? Maybe, but they didn’t choose where their history would lead them.

I am quite amused by those who wish to condemn and ostracize Israel, and yet I would bet anything that when these same anti-Semites need medicines or technology to save their lives, they are the first to demand the latest Israel advances.

If it all weren’t so tragic, it would be comical.

Over 1,000 French Jews fled that country last year to save their lives, and more leave daily. All the countries in Europe are more anti-Semitic now than Deutschland before WWII. In Germany they are now marching holding signs reading “Gas the Jews.” Seems like old times.

However, this time it’s different, despite the fact the Pope sits in his ivory tower and ignores the plight of Christians throughout the world. He’s not only King of the Church, he’s the Cleopatra of Popes, king of denial. He finally noticed there is a problem, gee maybe he needs to listen to the news.

This time it’s not just Jews that are being threatened and murdered, but also Christians.

The Holy War has begun and is in full swing. Mankind is marching backward at warp speed. Isn’t there some sort of oxymoron to that statement? How can the Hadron Collider, working on manufacturing time travel and the primitive savage beasts trying to take over the world actually exist within the same era?

Where is the United States of America? Why aren’t there marches on Washington now? Why isn’t there an outcry in our Senate against the war targeting the Judeo-Christian world?

It is shocking to me that it is business as usual as sympathizers of evil speak out in favor of terrorism.

Elites in Hollywood, who have no concept of the fact they are next on the hit list after Israel, speak out as though they are some righteous bunch saving humanity.

What a joke.

Years ago Mel Gibson made racist and anti-Semitic remarks and was ostracized and condemned. Today anti-Semitism is very chic and acceptable in Hollywood, especially by self-hating Jews. I rarely consider myself normal, whatever that may be, but I am beginning to wonder if normal exists any longer.

Unfortunately, the world is now in a position where it must choose sides.

When decent people watch as Christians are forced to escape to a mountaintop in Iraq like a replay of Masada and little innocent children stand with guns keeping watch, there is a serious problem here.

Where once the US was a problem solver, now it is a Band-Aid fix. Admitting we were caught off guard by a bunch of savages, if that’s even true, makes our CIA look like kiddy day at the gym. Dropping in food and sending a few jets in after the enemy has taken a stronghold is laughable.

I only hope that the American Eagle, who I understand is old and pretty worn out by now, can fly again.

Without him soaring over the world and fighting evil, good people will have nowhere left to run.

I mean WHOEVER is doing the race baiting.

I assure you there are plenty of people in our county GOP Exec meetings that don’t like hearing that phrase.....But NONE had a response beyond a scowl.

Yes, i was here 8 years ago.
I WAS NOT A ROMNEY SUPPORTER, until AFTER the 2012 Primary.
And that is because I had a very clear picture of the evil of Obama.

It isn’t about “vetting his record”, because all you do is extrapolate certain generic positions and pretend it would have resulted in the same policies and enforcement tactics used by Obama today.

Larry, I’m not going to fool myself into believing that 2+2=5. His record was known. You want to pat yourself on the back for supporting the “lesser of two evils” (as your side calls it), but you ignore the facts of why he was even on the ballot. He was there to stop a Conservative from even being the nominee. It was the same role he attempted to fill in 2008 (McCain did just fine in that regard).

That McCain and Willard both were there to ensure Zero’s win you fail to comprehend.

You claim you’re fighting from the inside. Maybe you should step outside and see what’s happening, Larry. Because I’m telling you straight out, buddy, you’ve been had.

If you voted for Romney, you rooted for Romney. If Romney had been elected (not bloody likely that the spoiled brat would EVER have been elected), it would have been a tad difficult to nominate Ted Cruz for POTUS in 2016 in the unlikely event that there would still have been a Republican Party or a Republic.

With Obozo in the White House, the Republicans have to keep up the false appearance of offering token opposition to Obozo. The election of a POS like Romney as a "Republican" would have broken the gridlock. Demonrat Marxists, Lavender Queens and Babykillers and Gun Grabbers and Surrender Artists and Medical Syaytem Destroyers, etc., would have held hands for four years with spineless faux Republicans of similar qualities who are ever monarchist in their tactics and would assume issue zombie status as Mittens' faithful followers. Obozo and Billy Jeff would have become regular visitors to the White House to say what a terrific job Mittens was doing.

You would regard all this as a GOP "victory" and I would not agree. Got it?

You don't think that Romney would want to destroy America as Obama does. That is not the question. Obozo is likely to be hampered by Congress for the rest of his term and maybe by the Senate because he is not a REPUBLICAN monarch. If he carries out threats to issue unconstitutional executive orders, that is why the Founders created the court system.

Romney's judges would be absolutely no better than Obozo's. Check his appointments in Massachusetts. Think such stellar GOP nominations by far more conservative Republicans such as William Brennan and Earl Warren (Eisenhower), Herod Blackmun and Clueless Powell (Nixon), John Paul Stevens (Feckless Ford), Sandra Day O'Connor (even Reagan under the influence of lying James Baker), David Swish Souter (Bush the Elder) and that is not an exhaustive list.

What you are not making is any case whatsoever that Romney would not be every bit as bad as Obozo with the only differences being protecting Muffie's trust fund and his, ummm, good intentions. I don't credit Demonrats' "good intentions" when they harm the country. Nor do I give ruling class Republican greedheads any credit for "good intentions" when THEY harm the country. Harm is harm. Romney's election would likely do more harm since all the leftists and airheads could unite under him smothering our country under a million pound pillow of mediocrity and damage to our nation.

From my post #68

In refutation of your claim “you are not making is any case whatsoever that Romney would not be every bit as bad as Obozo”

1-the multiple crises in the Middle East. Doing nothing to stop them at multiple opportunities.
2-Energy policy - Keystone, Oil production on federal land and offshore. Coal power and Natural Gas restrictions
3-No incarnation of Romneycare would have contained the cynical and destructive components of Obamacare
4-National Defense-would not see the current decimation of our forces
5-Sequestration would not have occurred
6-We would not be experiencing the tyranny and lawlessness of the Justice Dept. and the IRS
etc....

G Larry:

1. No GOP candidate for POTUS is as obviously ignorant of all things foreign (other than his personal profits, perhaps) than the Massachusetts Mittwit. He would be completely helpless on foreign policy. No knowledge. No principles. No interest in it at all;

2. He would know a lot more than Obozo about energy policy and he would work overtime implementing those policies and only those policies that maximize his profits and those of his BGig Buddies. If that means exporting every drop of oil and every pound of coal, you can count on Mittens to carry out and probably to double the price we pay for energy;

3. Obozocare IS Romneycare. Mandatory participation, mandatory payment for abortion, sterilization, sex change operations and all the things social issue revolutionaries see as "must haves" and the same wreckage of the medical care systems and implementation of death panels;

4. No adult Romney has EVER served in our military and Mittens again has no interest in the military other than his personal profits and those of his pals. Likely, defense spending will be first on the chopping block while he maintains all the perverted excuses for perverted medicine under Romneycare/Obamacare tyranny;

5. I have no problem reducing federal expenditures. Both Obozo and Romney would. Sequestration worked when no one intended it to work. The Romneyite Republican leaders in both houses of Congress NEVER want to fight Obozo and they would want to be mindless servants of Romney and the US Chamber of Crony Capitalism. Nothing that liberals cherish would be threatened under Romney and everything that conservatives hold dear would be attacked;

6. The IRS under Romney would protect anything needed by Muffie's trust fund and be a public nuisance as usual to all other Americans. A Romneyite Justice Department would probably have a different public face than Eric Holder but be more competent in its attacks on American institutions. After all, that is what the girls down at the Junior League want and the lads down at the polo club. Like Mittens, they are all just embarrassed to be in the same party as actual conservatives who could join THEIR political party no matter WHO their great, great grand daddies were.

Also, conservatives make their spoiled little leftist heads hurt with all those issues discussions. Did you hear that Nikki Hilton is marrying a young James Rothschild? Now the ruling class mopheads know that is news worth knowing! What color will Nikki's wedding dress be? Will they honeymoon working on Mittens' next campaign? Will any Kardashians attend? You know---the really important stuff!

Typical, the lie that Romney is my "hero" starts off the predictable BS.

It usually follows when someone is accused of WANTING Barry because the did NOT vote for Mitt.

Despite your disagreements with Mormonism, would you not support some of their candidates (such as Mia Love & Mike Lee in UT), based on their ideological stances ? Just curious.

Sure!

But those folks are NOT the Highest Leader In The Land.

There is still a chance that, due to exposure from folks with a mission to reveal Mormonism's ugly underbelly, these lower level people will see the true Light.

You seem to enjoy pretending there is some certainty that he would have been as bad for America as Obama.

I’m here to make the case that position is nonsense.

I’m here to wonder just HOW that position is known.

Hey, I wrote in “McCaine” on a provisional ballot (my military absentee ballot never showed) and I held my nose and voted for Romney.

Since I’ve been saying I’ll never hold my nose and vote RINO again the GOPe professional cheerleaders keep accusing me of voting for Obama.

You had a choice. You sat home rather than trying to rid the nation of Caliph Obama.

You got the result you wanted since if it's not what you wanted you'd have taken the only alternative you had. Like cutting the gangrenous leg off of a goat to keep the goat from dying, it wasn't a good choice, but it was the only choice you had.

The lame attempts at plausible deniability by saying you didn't lift a finger are just hilarious.

Why bother ranting? You have your preferred President.

Have a nice, really nice, day.

McCain was the last one I voted for or ever will vote for. I class him now with Romney, Dole, Bush the Elder, Ford and Nixon as the embarrassments of my voting history. Held my nose on each and every one. No more!
