Americans have always grown up believing we are the good guys. We fight the wars of the righteous, help the oppressed and free the world from despots and evil dictators.

I am seriously wondering when all that had changed.

Do I have to dig up John Wayne to do battle with evil? Isn’t anyone up to the challenge anymore?

It is no longer an assumption that America is on the right side of history, because now it seems we are on the wrong one or can’t even find the sides at all.

When good men ignore evil and allow it to run free, well you know the rest.

Recent ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas were held and brokered in Egypt after John Kerry botched the previous ones. He wasn’t even invited to participate.

Wow, America not part of the solution?

Obviously we have now become part of the problem.

When America does wrong, its size and power exacerbate its foibles. In the last six years, the U.S. has turned its back on allies, ignored murder and genocide in numerous countries and enabled the most evil Empire on earth to soon obtain nuclear capability.

Am I living in a parallel universe? Can this actually be happening? Sadly, it is.

The U.S. left Iraq to the devices of terrorists and Islamic extremists with no plan in place to protect what American men and women fought and died to protect. And we thought Sadam Hussein was a jerk?

Syria has murdered close to 200,000 of its people, Pakistan has taken billions in payoff money and thrown the US under the bus and Africa, well, is even more problematic than it has ever been.

The United Nations is a total failure and joke in the world, but we continue to support this pathetic sideshow to the tune of two billion plus a year.

Americans are murdered, kidnapped, falsely imprisoned and no one says a peep.

Our borders are open to anyone who feels like strolling over, at a time when America has more enemies who seek its destruction than Colorado has pot plants. Am I dreaming here?

The happiest man on planet earth right now is Vladimir Putin because it is free day for him. And America thinks it is going to stop Mother Russia with a few missing chickens?

Jews and Christians are being murdered all over the world, and the President hops on a plane to inhale clam chowder on Martha’s Vineyard and schmooze with celebrities.

I don’t have enough room on my computer anymore to list all the horrors going on in this world. What the hell happened to our white hat? Did we give it away to all the evil dictators of the world?

Sure, all of us in the civilized world would like to return to the past when our biggest problem was Cuba harboring nukes. When a US president could back Russia down with a phone call.

Ignoring the craziness only intensifies its growth.

Hitler didn’t burst on the scene like a 15-minute rock star but was duly elected by the German people.

That’s the scariest part of all. When people elect their own destroyer. Sort of like a worldwide StayPuff Marshmallow man marching through the planet, and now sadly squashing churches and synagogues in his wake.

The Palestinian people chose Hamas, a terrorist organization, through an election, in lieu of a more moderate government, and now when it has come back to bite them, they blame everyone else for their foolish choices.

Do most Jewish people probably wish Israel was located somewhere less dangerous, like Miami Beach? Maybe, but they didn’t choose where their history would lead them.

I am quite amused by those who wish to condemn and ostracize Israel, and yet I would bet anything that when these same anti-Semites need medicines or technology to save their lives, they are the first to demand the latest Israel advances.

If it all weren’t so tragic, it would be comical.

Over 1,000 French Jews fled that country last year to save their lives, and more leave daily. All the countries in Europe are more anti-Semitic now than Deutschland before WWII. In Germany they are now marching holding signs reading “Gas the Jews.” Seems like old times.

However, this time it’s different, despite the fact the Pope sits in his ivory tower and ignores the plight of Christians throughout the world. He’s not only King of the Church, he’s the Cleopatra of Popes, king of denial. He finally noticed there is a problem, gee maybe he needs to listen to the news.

This time it’s not just Jews that are being threatened and murdered, but also Christians.

The Holy War has begun and is in full swing. Mankind is marching backward at warp speed. Isn’t there some sort of oxymoron to that statement? How can the Hadron Collider, working on manufacturing time travel and the primitive savage beasts trying to take over the world actually exist within the same era?

Where is the United States of America? Why aren’t there marches on Washington now? Why isn’t there an outcry in our Senate against the war targeting the Judeo-Christian world?

It is shocking to me that it is business as usual as sympathizers of evil speak out in favor of terrorism.

Elites in Hollywood, who have no concept of the fact they are next on the hit list after Israel, speak out as though they are some righteous bunch saving humanity.

What a joke.

Years ago Mel Gibson made racist and anti-Semitic remarks and was ostracized and condemned. Today anti-Semitism is very chic and acceptable in Hollywood, especially by self-hating Jews. I rarely consider myself normal, whatever that may be, but I am beginning to wonder if normal exists any longer.

Unfortunately, the world is now in a position where it must choose sides.

When decent people watch as Christians are forced to escape to a mountaintop in Iraq like a replay of Masada and little innocent children stand with guns keeping watch, there is a serious problem here.

Where once the US was a problem solver, now it is a Band-Aid fix. Admitting we were caught off guard by a bunch of savages, if that’s even true, makes our CIA look like kiddy day at the gym. Dropping in food and sending a few jets in after the enemy has taken a stronghold is laughable.

I only hope that the American Eagle, who I understand is old and pretty worn out by now, can fly again.

Without him soaring over the world and fighting evil, good people will have nowhere left to run.

Voting for Mittens is more like cutting the head off a goat with a gangrenous brain in the hope that you can save its life. You can't. Obozo and Romney were both that kind of "choice." The election of one of them was assured the day that Wall Street and K Street and Romney BOUGHT the GOP nomination. At that point it made no difference whatsoever which one survived the election. The republic was in for four more years of wanton destruction.

As Goldwater said of Eisenhower's "Dime Store New Deal" vs. Adlai Stevenson, there ain't a dime's worth of difference. The GOP is functionally dead and lacks the common sense to fall over.

After holding my nose and voting for McCain (44 years of voting GOP no matter how bad the trash nominated by the usual gang of crooks) I had enough watching McCain roll over for Obozo. When Romney rolled over for Obozo, that was it. I was not going to vote Romney in any event and he confirmed my good sense in making that decision. No more RINOs, not in 2012, not in 2016, not in my lifetime, not in God's lifetime, NEVER again. They should go straight to hell where they belong.

The GOP MIGHT start to recover when GOP voters see that a candidate taking money from Wall Street, K Street, the US Chamber of Crony "Capitalism" or similar sources is morally the equivalent of a candidate caught on Candid Camera sexually molesting a three year-old.

You got the result YOU wanted. You sold your soul to vote for a despicable loser and he turned out to be.... a despicable loser. What does that make his loyal love slaves who voted for him? Dopes? Sell-outs? RINO Enablers? Enemies of the Republic? All of the above!

I often disagree with Elsie but not on this one and I don't really care if Romney claims to be a Mormon. If he were a reliably pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-military, pro-muscular foreign policy, pro-border security, pro-free market medicine, etc., Mormon, I would have voted for him but he is a treasonweasel on each of those issues and as bad as Obozo. If that's good enough for you, hey, it's a free country. Vote as you please. So will I and a rapidly growing group of conservatives who disagree with you and we vote.

As a Roman Catholic, I refuse to vote for bad Catholics like Little Dick Durbin or John Kerry or anything named Kennedy, etc. I sure as hell am not voting for a Mormon who is a very bad excuse for one. No Mormon I ever knew favored baby-killing, "gay""marriage," gun grabbing or treasonweasel failure to defend America.

Yesterday or today, Islamofascists in Iraq cut in half a five year old son of an Anglican clergyman. If Romney had been POTUS, he would have asked his aides what on earth this had to do with protecting Muffie's trust fund and why would his staff bother him with such news. Ruling class Republican to the core. If it doesn't affect Wall Street, who cares?

Nominate candidates worth voting for or keep on losing. Those are YOUR choices. We owe you and your trash greedhead candidates absolutely nothing and nothing is what you will get. At least have the pride to hide your shameful sellout of conservative principles on a CONSERVATIVE (not Republican) website.

President John Taylor stated: "Christianity...is a perfect pack of nonsense...the devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work than the Christianity of the nineteenth century." President Joseph Fielding Smith said: "Doctrines were corrupted, authority lost, and a false order of religion took the place of the gospel of Jesus Christ, just as it had been the case in former dispensations, and the people were left in spiritual darkness." (Doctrines of Salvation, p.266). "For hundreds of years the world was wrapped in a veil of spiritual darkness, until there was not one fundamental truth belonging to the place of salvation ...Joseph Smith declared that in the year 1820 the Lord revealed to him that all the 'Christian' churches were in error, teaching for commandments the doctrines of men" (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 3, p.282).

President George Q. Cannon said: "After the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized, there were only two churches upon the earth. August 27, 1954 in an address at Brigham Young University (BYU), Mormon Elder, Mark E Peterson, in speaking to a convention of teachers of religion at the college level, said:

When Mormon 'Apostle' Mark E Petersen spoke on 'Race Problems- As they affect the Church' at the BYU campus in 1954, the following was also said:

Is your plan what has produced Chickenpooper as Governor, Bennet and Udall as US Senators, etc., all in the comparatively Republican state of Colorado? Is that the result of working for a living? Or of "changing the party from the inside?"

How did your "fighting to keep Obama out of office" work out for you? You were trying to compete in the Daytona 500 while driving a Volkswagen Beetle circa 1968 in verrrry bad shape. The real race cars operated on jet fuel and your VW was powered by Wishin' and Hopin'.

What change do I suppose my tactics will effect in my lifetime? The length of my lifetime is up to God so who knows? My generation of New Right movement activists nominated and elected Ronaldus Maximus and, after about 16 years devoted to that effort, we stepped back foolishly when he was elected and with Bush the Elder in 1988, the termites resumed control of the party and the nation. We were busy marrying and having kids and starting businesses. When you do as well as we did in 1980 and 1984, get back to me.

Putting Romney or McCain in the White House would have sold out America at least as surely, ruined the GOP permanently, thereby destroying the nation even more surely than Obozo. One can only conclude that you have not a clue as to the Massachusetts Mittwit and his corrupt money-obsessed cronies.

Oh and let me remind you that Reagan carried something like 89 states out of a possible 100 including Massachusetts twice (unlike Mittwit), Connecticut twice, New York twice, etc. For just a few examples. By contrast, how many times did the Mittwit (who has publicly confessed and indeed bragged that he never voted for Reagan) carry Colorado with all your workin' and changin' and fightin'?

Nominate candidates worth voting for or lose. Fight for THAT change. Conservatives owe your low rent red light district candidates absolutely nothing and that is what they'll get. Who they run against is irrelevant unless they are worth electing on their own merits.
