HBO supernatural drama takes aim at conservatives in bloody takedown.
HBO's True Blood took another stab at conservatives on Sunday's episode when it left a bloody mess of an event held in Ted Cruz's honor.
It was exactly what the doctor ordered for an ailing Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), who has been infected with the dangerous virus that's killing vampires. He was all ready to meet the true death until his progeny Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) informed him that Sarah Newlin, part of the group manufacturing the virus, was still alive and on the run. That was enough for Eric and he was ready to give chase.
Intel from Eric's other progeny, Willa, and Sarah's sister, Amber surprisingly a vampire herself (a possible hit at conservatives who are against gay rights yet have close relatives who are gay) led Eric and Pam to a gala to support Sen. Ted Cruz at the Bush Presidential Library in College Station, Texas.
In the second hit on Cruz and Republicans, Amber warned Eric, You'll never get in. You're vampires. Security's going to be tight, and they only invited [a-words].
We can be [a-words], Eric replied.
Later, Eric gave Pam a Texas big-hair-and-sequin makeover, to which she said, Oh my God, I'm a Republi[c-word].
In the end, the Japanese Yakuza (who are working with the manufacturers of TruBlood) showed up, shot the event to pieces and killed Sarah's parents but their daughter escaped once again.

Gee whiz, attacking Conservatives. How original.
Seems like HBO especially has become a left wing propoganda machine.
always has been
One big reason they sacked Dennis Miller in favor of the diseased subhuman soulless filth known as Bill Maher. Miller was an independent thinker, and that was a no-no for HBO.
So lefties are represented in this show by bloodsucking freaks that have to destroy in order to survive? How appropriate.
And just like real-world (and I use the term loosely) lefties, they blame conservatives for their own condition, and rather than focus on trying to cure themselves, they spend their time trying to “punish” their alleged oppressors.
I would pay to avoid that, but since I keep the television disconnected, I can avoid it for free!
TB has a new set of ‘writers’ this season
in the first 5 episodes, i’ve prolly spent half the time either eye rolling or fast forwarding
i’m only watching to see what Eric and Pam do.
the sookie crap is vampire diaries meets twilight and i couldn’t give a f*ck (to quote Pam)
Well dang.
I just wanna see if Sookie gets offed.
Let us hope.
BTW, is that fairie land where Obama will go to retire?
I tried to watch this show but couldn’t get past the first twenty minutes. It’s awful.
Nahhh, he’ll have to much fun in lala land.
So that’s what the problem is. I’ve noticed in the few episodes I’ve seen for this last season that something if very wrong. Frankly, I’ve grown more and more disinterested as it progresses. At this point I’m hoping little “Sookie” gets her neck ripped out by an H-Vamp.
I was told how great it was and - just like you - I couldn’t get past the first 20 minutes.
HBO = Hail Barack Obama
at least on the bright side, Thor is a woman now, Captain America is black and they put out a casting call for black girls to play Obi Wan’s daughter in the new Star Wars. ( all true stories). They should just digitize Tupac and give him every role in Hollywood.
Read the books instead - they are so much better - the TV show is “loosely” based on the novels.
I wonder how long it will be before digitized avatars outnumber analogue actors? Think of the money saved!
This occurs to me every time I see a planted PR piece/photo on some *star* I never heard of. Then I read that *most* pop singers have their songs digitally enhanced. I think I also read about attempts to write scripts using an AI. The entertainers are already so plastic and manufactured, no one would know the difference.
