Every school-age child in America is getting a serious dose of what it means to be governed by arrogance. Our school-age children are getting a taste of what an Administration, weaned on hateful communist dicta of Ayers and Alinsky, can ignorantly impose on the population when it has been given the power to do so.
Michelle Obama’s personal crusade to find her entry into the history books besides being First Lady, has been to force schools to feed only certain foods to our children through the implementation of meal standards with the “Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.”
This imposition of statist and bureaucratic regulations even dictates that birthday parties can only be celebrated with non-food treats and favours — NO FOOD. NO CUPCAKES. And you know those fundraisers we've all been supporting since all of us were kids? NO SWEETS. No sweets even if the fundraiser is held by an outside group. You won’t be buying a candy bar from those kids knocking on your door, fund-raising for their schools. Perhaps the Obamas want them to sell you erasers.
And just in case anyone of these young children might enjoy the sweet taste of a pretty cake for a celebration, Michelle Obama has dictatorially decreed that, Birthday parties in classrooms may be celebrated with non-food treats and favors for students. No food is allowed as part of a birthday celebration.
The progressive radicals are attempting to wean children on being indoctrinated. Their nutrition has nothing to do with this authoritarian program. The children have figured it out, and intuitively, they know what their Administration doesn't. They’re not buying it. Unlike the parents who reverently re-elected this Administration, the children are reacting to being dictated-to.

The government has no right to decide what kids eat or don’t eat in school or during birthday parties.

The children nor anyone else have taught these cretins a damn thing. They will never change because they think they are right about everything.
If anything the children may have been taught a lesson. I hope it sticks.

Or putting the fat welfare, food stamp queens and their fat welfare kids on a reduced calorie diet or restrictions on what their welfare checks can buy- last time I was behind one in the grocery store checkout line, she had cookies, sodas, tattoos, a cell phone AND WAS PREGNANT.

I had three teenage boys in high school this last year.
I heard endless complaining about school lunch.
I made very sure they new why it was so much worse this year than before.
Messing with the lunch of teenage boys is not smart.
For the boys, just another nudge towards the right wing.
Providing, of course, that it was cut into sufficiently small pieces, then braised for a minimum of 24 hours.
Sofrito and alcaparrada optional, but probably a good idea in order to minimise the gamey taste.
No, no, no! The ‘counter’ leftist argument to that is ‘Conservatives’ make SURE that these poor folk live in ‘Food Deserts’ and they don’t have access to nutritious, fresh, affordable food...so they HAVE to eat junk!

Just had this discussion today with someone growing fresh veggies for a Food Pantry. I just said to myself, ‘Yeah. Good Luck with THAT! People don’t know what to do with a potato! What? I have to COOK it?’
My in-laws and I have contributed TONS of food that way through the years. People USED to be GRATEFUL and even knew what to do with a bunch of carrots. Today, NO ONE has the faintest idea how to prepare fresh veggies. It’s insanity!
