Theres no better wisdom than received wisdom. And when it comes to parroting things shes heard from people she believes to be smarter than her which doesnt really narrow it down Lena Dunham is tops.
Take it away, genius!

Women's access to birth control should not be denied
because of their employer's religious beliefs.

This is true, in theory. Its also irrelevant, because thats not what just happened.
Lena Dunham is very stupid, but perhaps this analogy might find its way through that geologically thick skull:
Sean Davis @seanmdav
I'm kind of hungry for lunch, but my employer doesn't
buy my lunch for me. It gives me cash to buy food.
Which means I'm going to starve.

Do you get what hes saying here, Lena? An employer gives money to its employees for the work they do. Those employees can then spend that money on the things they want and need. Including, for the purposes of this example, birth control. These employees access to birth control has not been denied in any way. On the contrary, they can buy as much of it as they can afford, if they so choose.
Access not denied. At all.
This is just another moronic cause célèbre, like the Chick-fil-A nonsense. Lets just hope this one doesnt inspire another gunman to take matters into his own hands, like Floyd Lee Corkins tried to do. Thatd be the first Hobby Lobby story the media wouldnt want to cover.

Update: Awwww, dayum.

You are correct. However, the problem remains that the left does not see a difference between a contraceptive and an abortifacient.
I've heard liberals answer that by saying: It's not 9.00 everywhere. In some cases it can run $15 to $25 per month!
Uh, OK, then, $25 per month. Is THAT going to break the bank?
Or if you REALLY want an IUD, maybe a one time charge of a couple of hundred dollars.
Which over 3 years runs around...
$10/month.
REAL "meanies" these Hobby Lobby people.
Who the heck is Lena Dunham and what’s her claim to fame .... another Sandra Fluke?
“You are correct. However, the problem remains that the left does not see a difference between a contraceptive and an abortifacient.”
Neither did the court, as your first post stated it did.
“Women’s access to birth control should not be denied

You’re a “women”, go buy you own like a big girl.
Or is this one of those times where you adopt the persona of the weak, helpless lass?
If Hobby Lobby doesn’t offer what you want, you can also quit.
Or these people can learn to have sex less?
She’s an out-of-shape, tatted-up camera whore, that has a show on HBO that consists of her appearing naked almost every two minutes.
That’s is not an exaggeration.
They have been at it since the 80s really. It’s just ramping up. Makeup and ‘Male Polish” for guys, the Pussification of the American male in schools, through safety/environmental laws, seminars on ‘feelings, military embrace of the “Blessed homosexual”, demonizing of traditionally masculine pastimes/activities. Now we have Dudes shaving their chests/legs to sell more razors and look more like women, facials/mani-pedis...Behavior mod social engineering at it’s most vile...the list is endless.
Seriously. I don’t care if it’s fifty dollars or a hundred. Birth control is not “health care”, and it’s not anyone else’s responsibility to foot the bill.
Here’s a novel idea: why don’t they get their boyfriends to pay?
And I agreed that you were correct on that point. My comment on the left stands.
Looks corn fed to me.She’s also a product of Oberlin, which explains her mindset.
Looks force fed actually. With a bucket loader from a mine site. ;)
God...! Where’s the eye bleach? Don’t post $#!+ like this without a warning....
The difference is that Hobby Lobby only covers these 16 at no cost; the four that aren't covered are available to purchase with the employee's money. In either case, the employee is NOT deprived of the contraceptive of their choice. This should not be so hard to understand except for a loony liberal. Sometimes you have to be repititious because libs aren'too good with logic.
I elect not to participate. Mrs. Thinking is grateful and relieved.
I’m in complete agreement with your assessment.
Best movie line ever.
Ain’t it, though ? And in a kid’s movie, too. ;-)
Lena Dunham is very stupid
