In the mid-sixties at the height of the social revolution the line between democratic benevolence and outright communism became rather blurry. The Democratic Party, which controlled the presidency and both houses of Congress, was used as the springboard by social engineers to introduce a new era of welfare initiatives enacted in the name of defending the poor, also known as the Great Society Programs. These initiatives, however, were driven by far more subversive and extreme motivations, and have been expanded on by every presidency since, Republican and Democrat alike. At Columbia University, sociologist professors Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven introduced a political strategy in 1966 in an article entitled 'The Weight Of The Poor: A Strategy To End Poverty'. This article outlined a plan that they believed would eventually lead to the total transmutation of America into a full-fledged centralized welfare state (in other words, a collectivist enclave). The spearpoint of the Clowan-Piven strategy involved nothing less than economic sabotage against the U.S.

Conclusion? Need I say?
As long as congress sits around and does nothing, it will get worse. I fully expect reeducation camps on the immediate horizon.
The Strategy of Orchestrated Crisis was the Cloward-Piven plan. Rahm blurted out the plan in front of cameras.... “Never let a good crisis go to waste”.

I believe we are witnessing the true death of our Republic.
The news media only gives voice to the LIV’s. Those who know the truth are silenced but could be the majority.
The MOST salient point made on this thread.
Ddi you people really have to wonder what those billions of rounds of hollow point bullets and those APCs and tanks being sent for free to police departments were for?
Obama is igniting and forcing a response, so he can do what every Marxist regime in history has done: make the streets run with the blood of their political enemies.
Obama wins now whether we do nothing, or if we do something. He is just looking for the excuse - and he knows at some point - some American somewhere is going to give him the "justification" he think he needs to unleash his militarized police forces and DHS upon.
And believe you me - they are itching to do some killing of Conservative Christians whom they have been indoctrinated to hate.
And Obama has thousands if not millions of illegals to fill his ranks should he make such a plea for help.
A: Is The Cloward-Piven Strategy Being Used To Destroy America?
I believe we are witnessing the true death of our Republic.
I’m sorry to say that I think the same thing. It didn’t last long enough. But I have a feeling the Founders wouldn’t be surprised. Remember what Franklin told that woman who asked what we had - “A republic, if you can keep it.” He understood that a republic HAS to be kept with vigilance. We have allowed it to slip away.
