Even as bumper sticker slogans go, it was a bit dubious from the start. Now it looks like it was actually the other way around.
The claim seemed bogus from the moment the angry mob in Cairo chanted Obama! Obama! There are still a billion Osamas! right up through this months resurgence of al Qaeda in Iraq.
And as far as GM goes, it appears that rumors of its survival may have been exaggerated as well. Despite life support efforts that included the removal of crushing debt from its books and infusions of billions in special future tax breaks, GM managed to lose one-third of its value in less than 2 years. And now its official: GM really hasnt made a car in the past 20 years that hasnt been recalled!
GM wouldnt exist today butt for a U.S. government bailout; apparently the same can be said of al Qaeda in Iraq. Maybe we should stop bailing out losers at home as well in the Middle East. And heres another idea: how about we focus on taking guns away from al Qaeda instead of U.S. citizens?

Well...........Osama is alive AGAIN, via ISIS.
I have never seen this sticker on a GM product.
“GM really hasnt made a car in the past 20 years that hasnt been recalled!”
Makes me glad I don’t buy Government Motors cars.
I won’t be happy until the GM bondholders are made whole again.
The United Auto Workers should all be living on the streets in cardboard boxes. They destroyed Detroit, they made crap cars, they reaped a King’s wages... they should all die in abject poverty.
Va scandal and gm. Anybody see the connection? Only a fool would buy a gm car or truck.
My Chevy Silverado pickup is celebrating its 10th birthday this year. Great truck. Bought it used; GM got none of the purchase price.
The GM bondholders case was outright theft and violation of contract law. The attorney general of Indiana filed a class action suit on behalf of the bondholders. Anyone know if there has been any movement on this case?
“The GM bondholders case was outright theft and violation of contract law.”
It was, and I was appalled that the administration got away with it.
recalled more cars in 6 months than sold in 6 years...quite a gubmint bidness model.
“GM is dead and Osama is recalled”
28 million vehicles recalled.
How many square miles of space would they occupy?
I came across a graphic of what it could look like. I did not count the cars to see if it was accurate......
