Really? Creepy. Do I have a choice?
I’ve surely read a stupid, uninformed, vapid, racist article such as this before, but I can’t recall when.
I’ve read similar stuff by Watkins or people (other deluded fools) like him over the decades. The narrative never changes....white people are always doing these racist, nasty things to black people, but black people should still forge on ahead. This is in line with the similar thought by many angry Blacks that things have never changed, and any problems in the black community are still the fault of racist whites.
“We fill up the prisons for things that white guys get away with all the time, we are overrun with poverty as white families enjoy the wealth that was stolen from our ancestors, and black kids are blowing each other’s brains out with guns that politicians and wealthy people are allowing to be sold in black neighbhorhoods rather than their own.”
Despite the rambling nature of the piece, this sentence pretty much encapsulates the premises from which it starts. The fact that it is BS should be an indicator of the content of the rest of the piece.
The man clearly lives in another world. The comment he made, “I speak about racism all the time,” is indicative of that. It must be sheer torture to be thinking all the time of the burdens he and others suffer from being of a minority race, many—if not most—of their own making. Too bad...for him.
No one is meant to be a slave.
Many people cling to a slave mentality. This mentality never allows them to take advantage of the vast opportunities America offers all citizens to excel.
The blacks who overcome their slave mentality baggage are better equipped to excel. However, they risk their fellow blacks, who took the decision to remain dependent on government, calling them Uncle Tom.
I am beginning to formulate a belief that there are people who are afraid to be free. They can’t handle the responsibility required to be free. When a person is dependent on a government the government, not them, becomes the entity responsible for all aspects of their lives.
She’s right about needing to take control of your own life, and not worrying about bigots.
Otherwise, she’s still too racially sensitive. We’ve all got our own problems, and hers are not ours, nor are they our responsibility.
The author needs to put down the crack pipe and back away.
Racism in the black world is 1,000 times worse than it is in the white world.......
But, as Jesse Jackson said, black’s can’t be racist because they are the minority.........
I have a very close black friend who lives in the hood who tells me how bad the hatred of whites is there......he tries to counter it occasionally, and is always ridiculed when he does........
Interesting read. Clearly a racist rant, but many references to working hard for success. Hopefully, many more blacks will start following that part of his advice. (And more young whites, too!)

Nothing but racist black rage. Blacks that do achieve do well. The rest simply bitch they didn’t achieve because they were black; this is one of them.
When I was a process improvement consultant ( can you get any MORE white than an “efficiency expert?) I would take his statements—which are symptoms or results—and walk them back to their root causes.
Much of the things they suggest are racist are in fact the result of the decay of the black family. A lot of the issues that WERE racist no longer apply.
By point of example: show me any white folks, from NBA owners to the guy on the corner who thought what this Sterling guy said was right. Most every white person I have seen interviewed thought this guy was a idiot. In fact, the overall outrage against sterling show how much the racist argument has collapsed.
In the end, if you want to find solutions you need to identify root causes in a non emotional and factual way.

1. I think it unwise to push for a race war when your troops make up about 4% of the total population, have by far the lowest average IQ, almost zero impulse control and your race terminates almost 70% of its pregnancies. Not a winning combination.
White people enjoys things because white people stole from his ancestors? Only plantation owners stole from his ancestors. And it is likely that his ancestors were stolen from their African villages by other blacks who were engaging in the slave trade. Africans are still engaging in slave trade - witness the abducted African school girls.
