Once upon a time there were more than fifty cattle ranches operating in the area of Southern Nevada where Cliven Bundy, with the help of numerous armed patriots from all over, is making his stand against the abusive, bankrupting tactics of the bullying federal government.
Now, there is only one rancher and his family left.
After several generations of his ancestors having use of the land in question, Bundy is literally the last man standing in what is, evidently, a long-range vendetta against ranchers by land-grabbing federal bureaucrats who, also literally, have gone power madthat is, mad for solar power scams (among other things) and all the big-dollar green graft that comes with it.
By now we all know that the official claim, that the confrontation has to do with protecting desert tortoises, is mostly just steaming bull patties.
ClashDaily.com has obtained evidence which indicates that the desert showdown at the Bundy ranch is actually the result of an expansive and ruthless federal strategy, aimed at bankrupting and driving away every last cattle rancher through increasingly exorbitant fees and endless rules, conditions, and red-tape. This is in order to clear the way for more politically-correct and politically connected (Sen. Harry Reid, his son, and a Chinese energy conglomerate) agendas such as solar energy boondoggles as far as the eye can see.
In a 77-page Federal Bureau of Land Management document titled Regional Mitigation Strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone, key aspects of the governments overall plan for facilitating massive solar energy projects in the region are discussed, specifically including the land where Bundys ranch is located. The report is linked here:

Interesting note: In the process of writing this article, the link to the above document suddenly went dead, with only the following message showing
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) website (www.blm.gov) and all associated websites/pages are currently unavailable due to planned maintenance on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 starting at 8:00 PM Mountain Time until approximately Midnight Mountain Time. The total outage time should be no more than 4 hours.
Hmmmm. This comes on the heels of numerous reports from around the web that other key documents have been deleted from the BLM website in recent days, while the Bundy ranch situation has unfolded. (real transparent, Harry & Barry!)
Fortunately, ClashDaily.coms Doug Giles had the presence of mind to download/save the above document, which you can read here: Click Here to See the PDF
One of the other key documents is titled Cattle Trespass Impacts & History of Cattle Trespass, and it specifically discusses problems associated with Cliven Bundys livestock (yes, Bundy is mentioned by name multiple times) getting in the way of/interfering with contingencies to mitigate environmental impacts of utility-scale solar power generation facilities on public lands. Presuming BLM restores their website by the time you read this, it is linked here:

In case the BLM website continues to deprive you of access to that crucial report at the link, here are screenshots of key portions of it:

Suppose that Cliven Bundy had caved in and paid the disputed federal grazing fees all along. Do you suppose hed have been able to stay in business, where others went bust? If so, would it even make any difference as to what the authorities have planned for the site? Seems theyd want him gone regardless, and would use any tactic, reasonable or not, to try get rid of him.
Cliven Bundys ranch and cattle exist directly in the path of very powerful interests conflicting intentions for the land. The deals Harry Reid and his son are involved in with a Chinese government-owned energy firm are well-documented by authoritative sources such as Reuters, and by now everyone knows that Reids former top advisor now runs the BLM.
If not for Bundys principled stubbornness in resisting heeding the escalating fees and conditions demanded from him over the years by the feds, combined with our U.S. Constitutions 2nd Amendment and social media, wed probably never have heard of the Bundy family. The government would have just bankrupted him and pushed him off the land as they did to all the other inconvenient ranchers over the years.
The feds have a court order they say they are trying to enforce. Since when does this corrupt administration act with anything remotely resembling good faith to our nations passed laws, to its own proper role and authority, or even to court rulings? Please.
In this real-life, modern Western saga of cowboys and communists, the dust has only been kicked up a little, and so far the cowboys and their patriot allies have held firm the line and won the day. If push comes to shove, what kind of people do you trust to carry this nation forward? Heroes who stand up to the organized federal shakedown racket, like Clive Bundy and company, or Harry Reid and his agents of a corrupt regime?
I am thinking about the Chinese connection to all this (always dangerous, me engaging in thinking), so, here are some speculations.
China holds a whole lot of our worthless treasuries, and it is possible that they are demanding “payback” by taking our physical assets.
It is known that China is buying up all of the west’s gold. And there is speculation that there is no longer any physical gold at Fort Knox - all has been leased, or “re-hypothecated”.
I have read that the land the Chinese purchased in Nevada was sold to them (with Dirty Harry & family’s “help”) for 10 cents on the dollar. The Chinese also bought a major building in NYC (JP Morgan’s?) way below assessed value. This all needs fact-checking, of course.
This land for the solar project is not where Bundy had the grazing and water rights, but Bundy’s land was needed for the “carbon credits”, as an required offset.
If the Feds can’t get Bundy off the land, the solar project cannot take place, and I have read that the Chinese have backed off from proceeding with the project for the time being, perhaps for legal reasons.
If any of these suppositions are true, then Dirty Harry & family might in a big pickle, having been financially compensated for their services. Is so, it suggests more trouble ahead for the Bundys.
Congress writes letter to President; Secretary of Interior; Head of BLM noting lawless behavior of BLM at Bundy Ranch and quotes violation of US Code....see FR thread.
Moooooh.
Et moh Chekin!
The rich and powerful are protected by this Administration.
If we do not stand up for farmers and ranchers...just what do we plan to eat ten years from now? Kudzu...yuk.
Which thread?
We will eat government raised food from huge government owned farms and the prices will be exorbitent...
Probably a loaf of bread will be $7.00...Can of beans will be $4.00... Fruits and raw vegetables will be unatainable at the stores open to the masses.
This sounds like the old USSR....but it will actually be the new USSA (United Soviet States of America)
>I still wonder why Cruz and Palin arent out there screaming to high heaven about Reids deal.<
.
That would be too seriously a charge — it almost sounds like high treason committed by the head senator. Don’t forget that politicians, when the chips are down, will protect each other.
Wait till more is known and Megan Kelly will expose it on the “Kelly Files” on Fox News.
That is, unless some politician or agency gets to her first.

Just because some politicians sold out the state of Nevada doesn’t mean the laws have changed. Expecting the federal Courts to surrender their power at this stage in the game is wishful thinking. When you have time watch the videos and see if they don’t change your mind on the subject.
“...it will prosper around all those solar panels, dontcha know??? sarc/”
As I understand it the Bundy ranch isn’t in the actual solar panel area, rather it is in the acreage these pagans meant to use as atonement to the earth goddess for killing all those turtles. This is supposed to make you and I and the grub worms feel better about electricity production.
We? Do you have a mouse in your pocket? I will either be eating my own veggies canned by my own hands or I will be living in the tropics on a fruit plantation....Oh by the way I am just being smart ar$$....I know, it’s awful isn’t it?
A stretch of largely vacant federal lands in Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado may hold more recoverable oil than all the rest of the world put together
The government owning all this land is socialism/communism . this land should be returned to private companies so that they can develop the vast oil resources
The federal government owns 86% of the land of Nevada . that is unconstitutional as this shows:
http://benswann.com/lofti-who-actually-owns-americas-land-a-deeper-look-at-the-bundy-ranch-crisis/
Nevada or individuals own that land not the federal government. that is pure marxism/socialism(fed owning all that land in Nevada and other states). the gov are using that land for environmentalism(communism/marxism) and corruption when private industry like that rancher Bundy, oil companies and others could be using it to produce oil , beef etc.
You wont be able to grow your own veggies without following the 1,947 government regulations that they will force you to follow to have your own little patch...
And I understand you were being a smarta—..*L*
I agree with Stockman but that doesn’t fulfill Congresses duty to extinguish all claims to public lands as called for in the Confederation Papers.
Food Safety Act of 2010....yep!
See comment #10.
Also, just because the Reids’ deal with the Chinese had the brakes put on it doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t get back underway asap.
Bundy has gone ‘round and ‘round in the ocurts over all this, and his argument at this point seems to be to challenge federal jurisdiction in the matter. Makes sense to me. Seems like the feds and speciasl interests have just been running roughshod over cattle ranchers there for quite some time.
LMAO!!!! Love it!!!
Someone on the article’s thread said that if the commies can somehow get Bundy’s cattle to be called “assault cows” by the media, it’ll be full-on lefty jihad against Bundy and supporters etc. lol
