A couple of winters ago my daughter wuld come screaming awake in her room about a ROUS. My wife patiently PATIENTLY explained it to the cat.

We called that mouse Stuart. For NINE months.

Until it had babies.

Well, Fred, I am sure you understand that the cat is your master, and you exist only to serve her/him.
I have about six cats, one of which is pregy. This is on top of one dog that just had 5 puppies. So far I have found homes for 4 of them. Very rarely does anyone want a kitten.
The saving grace is that I NEVER see a mouse or rat.
Fortunately, my numerous Gheckos are fast enough to climb a wall, well out of harm’s way.
