Don’t Trust the ‘Shysters’ Who Say They Want to Defeat ‘Establishment Republicans’ (Ann Coulter)

Ann Coulter and TV host Sean Hannity clashed on Wednesday over the tactics being used by some Tea Party lawmakers in Washington. While Hannity commended lawmakers for taking a stand for their principles, Coulter suggested the movement is being hijacked by “con men” who are “tricking Americans to send them money.”

Coulter also criticized Tea Party lawmakers who are focusing on “defeating establishment Republicans” instead of Democrats because the party should be united in taking back the Senate in 2014 — regardless of which Republicans get elected to office. The ultimate goal should be to repeal Obamacare, she said.

“You have to elect Republicans!” Coulter proclaimed. “How about going after Democrats?”

Is it just me or is Ann sounding a lot like Karl Rove?

...then says the T.E.A. Party is after Lindsey Graham's seat for his Amnesty support.

One set of liberals at a time. First the GOP liberals, then the Dem liberals.

Conservatives see themselves as routinely screwed over by the ‘establishment Republicans’.

It’s been how many elections now that Conservatives have been betrayed by these people?

Why doesn’t anyone talk about that?

Yeah, Ann, we did that in the 90s. Look at what it did for us. NOTHING.

Sorry Ann but how is reelecting Dems who call themselves Republicans going to help us repeal Obamacare? The establishment Pubs have broken every single promise they made about working to curb government spending but we’re supposed to trust them when it comes to Obamacare. No way, circlecity don’t play that game.

The ultimate goal should be to repeal Obamacare, she said.

But too many weak-kneed RINOs are not willing to risk their political necks to do it, Annie. That's why they have to be replaced. We'd have to be strong enough to override presidential vetoes if that's the goal and we won't have the numbers to do that regardless while Obozo is in office.

Coulter is like Newt, all over the map. Sometimes she takes excellent conservative stands; at other times her moderate alter ego appears to take over.

Well she was all in for St Mitt.

I prefer Michelle Malkin, she’s pretty solid.

Ann is on the ranch regarding anti-amnesty, but she is still in purgatory for her wild swing toward appeasing liberals in her Romney Christie years.

Trust but verify....and she’s only marginally worth listening to here.

1. I agree with her that any so-called tea party candidate who also supports any form of amnesty is only taking your money. I have some serious concerns with Rand Paul’s apparent willingness to back some variety of amnesty. Don’t be deceived by “worker only status with no right to pursue citizenship.” Some judge will rule that it is unconstitutional to allow a person to work in America but be legally prevented from pursuing citizenship. As freeper lawyer, P-Marlowe, has pointed out: that would be proclaimed a form of serfdom, indentured servanthood, slavery, etc. In fact, they’d be right.

2. To broad brush stroke all tea party candidates as shysters, when it’s clear their primary opponents are shysters, is to throw out the only system we have to remove politicians who seriously need removing. What does she think...the only way to remove an office-holder is death in office at an advanced age???

Ann Coulter is not to be trusted without verification.

Agreed.
Malkin and Levin are the most solid members of the talking-head class.

Simply put, Coulter is a Republican first, not a conservative first.
That type of thinking gave us the Rino controlled Republican party we have now.
How well is that working out for the country, constitution and freedom?

Is Ann Coulter assuming that the Republican establishment wants to defeat Obamacare? She's smarter than that.

Maybe Ms Coulter needs to take some time off from the talk show circuit and take a look at things from a distance.

Doesn’t do any good to elect a Republican if they’re really a Liberal.

Ann Coulter the scarecrow.

Ann was pretty strident about her support of Republicans as a whole, but like a great statesman once said of his former party affiliation, “I didn’t leave the party, the party left me.”

The Establishment GOP is leaving a large and highly motivated faction behind in their haste to “make nice” with another large coalition, that almost to a man, despises them for being such suck-ups and sycophants.

First rule of leadership: Find a parade and get around in front of it.

Second rule: Take on that parade’s emphatic display, and make it your own, showing confidence and sureness of step.

Third rule: Look back from time to time and see if anybody is still there.
