They were both great to listen to, although she writes better, he was far more engaging at the podium. Seeing them both (and meeting them) was a pleasure and a privilege. I love her writing, it's rare I miss one of her essays. I miss his tactical brilliance, his capacity to take on the left.
She'll never live that one down---and deservedly so.
I don't think the woman is quite stable. I came to that conclusion after listening to her shrieking, screaming meltdown before the 2012 election. She was on Hannity's radio program, and she was so out of control he seemed quite taken aback.
Hey Ann,
The establishment GOP is the actually the established SOP. Of the many problems of government faced by the country class, the GOPe is the primary problem at this time. (pun intended)
Mizz “I love Crispy Creme because he is a real Conservative” is more wrong than she is right these days.
I totally agree with what it sounds to me like Ann is saying - Just because someone says their conservative, or a member of the Tea Party, doesn't make it so.
The time to defeat establishment Republicans is in the primaries. If we can't get it done this time, we need to redouble our efforts next time, not stay away from the polls (and effectively say we would rather have a Democrat).
We want our representatives (Senators and Congressmen) to be honest with us and fight for our values and our freedoms, but when we lose a battle, too many of us want to take our ball and go home. We need to demonstrate to them what we expect of them - to stay in the fight to the finish. A strategy of the enemy is to wear us down and we, standing together, can't let that happen.
What good is taking back Congress if we fill it with John McCain’s and Lindsey Graham’s?
Ann, you’ve lost it Honey...
Worse than that, legalization would create the great American Apartheid. A community organizer's fantasy of 11+ million "dis-affected". And after the lawsuits and Dem wailing, these would get full, irrevocable citizenship and still be organized to fight another day for, say, amnesty II, III, IV...
Sad that. She used to be dead on and not afraid to say it.
Now, she sounds like she’s been assimilated by the Beltway Borg.
No Ann, the RINOs have crapped on us long enough. It time for them to go.
Corruption, power, money and access are things that most in DC cannot escape. Those that can are worth keeping. Flush the rest. Anne is flushable.
see Huckabee
history see past presidential candidate paul
see all the countless vote splitting dead enders in primaries.
I believe you put that very well. I have been encouraged by her writing on anti-amnesty of late and thought she’d realized her blunders supporting Romney and Christie but alas she hasn’t.
Thanks for the ping, this is most disappointing.
Oh, she’s right that there are those who use “TEA Party” as just a means to drub up funds and support, just as there are with any label in politics. It’s a sleazy business that draws sleazy people who all specialize in fooling the gullible.
That’s not to say that everyone - be it a candidate, PAC, or what have you - who claims to be TEA Party is a fraud, but you do need to give them a good hard look.
What the establishment is trying to do here (and Coulter is doing their bidding) is insulate themselves against the entire TEA Party movement by calling out a few bad apples and painting the entire movement with them.
I understand the need to have Republicans take back the senate. However, there is no point on Republicans having the majority when they will do the exact thing the rats are doing.
Better to fight the good fight and get Conservatives in there.the fact the GOPe is fighting back says everything that needs to be said.
I don’t disagree at all. It’s just a note of caution - there’s no way to enforce who or what can claim the title of “TEA Party”, so it does warrant some caution. And even those that are on the up-and-up need some vetting - I’d like to see McConnell and Graham go (Conryn too, at this point), but we can’t just vote for anti-whoever if they’re going to be a liability.
That said, I like Bevin and Bright for KY and SC, but the TX race is a bit murkier.
She has for a while now. She's a stalwart member of the GOPe.
“That said, I like Bevin and Bright for KY and SC, but the TX race is a bit murkier.”
I am thinking Stovall in Texas. I been Email blasted by Stockman’s team and frankly it’s getting annoying. Stockman is also coming off as a bit of a flake. I think Cornyn and the Rats(is that redundant) will use that to their advantage.
When those same republicrat RINOs decide the democrats are their enemy and conservatives are their friends, stop reaching across the aisle in friendship and stabbing conservatives in the back, then I will consider treating them differently.
As long as they keep doing everything they can to defeat conservatives and help democrats, they will continue to be my enemy and enemies of the United States.
Well said!

” - - - - She continued, “The only way to repeal Obamacare is to elect Republicans. It is not to be fighting Republicans.”
“Pretty Dyed Hair” Coulter has obviously been to busy writing puff books about her obsolete RINOs to notice that RINOs are no longer capable of becoming Warriors for the US Constitution or even someday becoming “fighting Republicans.”
Yes indeed! The dreaded Wussification of America has even extended into the Hallowed Halls of the House!
Her thought process has dumbed down to the one-dimensional thinking that RINO Rove and other faux “advisers” are fond of using.
For example, “Pretty Dyed Hair” Coulter uses the one-dimensional phrase “the only way to” to solve a problem. Ah, if things in the District of Corruption were really that simple!
“PDH” Coulter has made assumptions that can be easily tested when she remarked: “The only way to repeal Obamacare is to elect Republicans. “
Her assumptions are as follows:
* 1..) That a Republican elected by us will vote like a Republican;
* 2.)There is no difference of voting philosophy among elected Republicans;
*3.) Elected Republicans can be trusted by the voters who put them there to repeal Obamacare;
* 4.)The phrase “repeal Obamacare” has a single meaning to her Republicans.
In “Letterman” Order:
Number 4:
* “Repeal” to us means ABOLISH Obamacare FOREVER, and pass a Constitutional Amendment to dissolve the NINE SUPREMES if they EVER rewrite Federal Law on anything from their shiny bench seats!!!!!!
(BTW, I also have an emotional opinion on Obamacare.)
* “Repeal “ to Speaker Boehner means to Repeal the very few parts of Obamacare that can somewhat easily be replaced with RINOCare “fixes”, if, and this a big “if” “his best friends across the aisle”will agree to consider to someday think about cutting the rate of increase in some programs of Federal Spending sometime when there is not so much going on in Congress.
Number 3:
* No explanation needed.
Number 2
* No Explanation needed.
And the Number one reason that PDH Coulter has made false assumptions about her support of her Republicans is (drumroll please):
* As of this writing, there is no known evidence that any of the current US House Members have ever voted as Republicans.
RINO PDH Coulter has thus just earned the coveted, and much deserved, “Obsolete RINO Award of the Day!”
Earlier this week, RINO Intellectual Thomas Sowell has convincing won the “Obsolete RINO Award of the Week” for his writing on the inability of obsolete Professional RINO Politicians to shift into Cruz Control.
