Earlier this week, GOProud founder Jimmy LaSalvia announced that he was leaving the Republican Party because of its tolerance of bigotry, but in an interview with liberal radio and television host Thom Hartmann, LaSalvia went a good bit further in denouncing the GOP. On Thursday nights The Big Picture with Thom Hartmann, LaSalvia said that the party is the last place in America where the forces of intolerance are left.
LaSalvia and GOProud co-founder Chris Barron stepped down from their leadership positions in the gay conservative organization last April, and Barron recently blasted the group as a sad shell of an organization.
LaSalvia told Hartmann he thought that the anti-gay forces, and frankly, the forces of intolerance in the Party would diminish, and honestly, Ive come to the conclusion that the Republican Party is the only place in America where theyre left.

Never heard of these guys, but is anyone surprised that gay community-organizers eventually discovered they are not conservative at all - OR that they left in a public, bitchy huff?
Breitbart - if not gay himself - was at least a supporter of homo rights.
Good riddance to bad rubbish. Gay activism is simply incompatible with conservatism and the militant ‘born this way’ propaganda and its inherent denial of free will is simply incompatible with liberty. I know a few “gay conservatives” who aren’t gay activists and I welcome anyone who agrees on matters of liberty and constitutional government but the simple truth is that the vast majority of gays are not just a little bit liberal but radically liberal. Those like LaSalvia and Barron had a clear goal and that was to undermine conservatism and both embraced the rise of radical gay fascist political correctness. I’ve had twitter conversations with Barron and the guy is not a constitutionalist. He was merely a gay activist trying to change the GOP from the inside like an infection, a cancer.
Jimmy saliva swallows.
did anyone really think that was a conservative organization, really??
Is Thom pronounced with a lisp?
Wait just one second there Mr. Boehner (small, wry, smile).
Are you and Mr. Priebus telling me that if I can deliver a significant portion of the homosexual vote to the Republican party that you will see to it that large parts of the trillion-dollar Federal treasury is spent on protecting our desire to gratify our genitals by rubbing them against each other.
Dude! I am all in!
Breitbart and Anne Coulter: two good examples of why you should never get into hero worship of “conservative” leaders.
Breitbart also attacked the Obama Eligibility folks....which is why I stayed away from his site. Eerie that he may have perished in vain when he actually helped Obama being elected (attacking Eligibility folks directly helped elect Obama)
Post #11 is 1000% spot on...be wary of worshiping these folks
lol
