A North Carolina family is mourning the loss of their 18 year old son after he was shot and killed by a police officer.
Mark Wilsey called 911 for police assistance with his son Keith, who was having a schizophrenic incident and threatened his mother with a small screwdriver.
Wilsey said two police officers showed up and were able to subdue Keith, but the arrival of a third officer caused the teen to become agitated, and the officers used a Taser on him.
Wilsey told WECT that officers had his son down on the ground after the teen was tased a few times and an officer said, We dont have time for this.
Thats when Wilsey says one of the officers stepped between the two who were holding Keith down and fired, killing his son:

If true, then this is nothing short of murder.
You are quit correct.
Those cops are FUBAR bigtime.
Do you have a feeling this story will be disputed, vigorously?
Certainly, a tragedy.
We need the names of all the cops involved.
Bump
If this is true those cops are cold blooded murderers
ok, this is plain murder- is the officer being charged?
They’ll all be promoted soon.
Surely this did not really happen! If so, this officer should be in jail for life. There must be information missing here! I can’t believe that any Police Officer would even think about doing this much less killing an innocent victim. Either we have a horrible Police Officer here or we have some major problem about what actually happened!
Wilsui says everything was under control until a third officer arrived, and the situation took a dramatic turn.
Murder. They murdered our son for no reason, Wilsui said. Everything was going good, then this fat cop from Southport walks in the room, walks around the corner, says, we dont have time for this. Tase that kid now, lets get him out of here.
Wilsui says like any teenage boy, his son tried to run when he heard the word tase.
The tasers hit him, he fell back. Two officers were on top of him. You know, hes got the little screwdriver. I mean, I would have went and got the screwdriver from him. I went to help, and I hear a shot, Wilsui explained.
Wilsui says he grabbed the officer so he could not shoot again.
If this story has been correctly reported then this is nothing short of cold blooded murder.
They'll probably get desk jobs as "efficiency experts".
For what it’s worth....
“The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Chief has cleared his officers of any wrong doing at the scene. Chief Brad Shirley says an internal review shows his officers did not break any laws. They responded to help Keith Vidal’s family, during what they called a schizophrenic episode. Ultimately, Vidal was shot and killed.”
“Seventy seconds later, Unit 104 radioed out that he had to fire shots at the subject in order to defend himself.”

They aren’t really saying what happened yet, but that’s pretty typical when lawsuits get involved.
Two of three officers cleared.
The other has lawyered up

Contradiction in story right there.
Not that it justifies the shooting, but casts doubt on what happened in total.
Until all facts are out, you have to reserve judgment.
I got an official email about a Florida trooper that chased two black youth (yeah internal emails don’t pc). One stopped and got off a lucky shot with a .22 hitting the officer in the face. He returned fire killing the youth (23 year old).
His mom cried to the media that the officer should have shot him in the knee! Really? She never mentioned the officer being shot in the face and being in the hospital. The “youth” had multiple arrests and incidents.
