WA: Poll on Gun Control at Seattle Times
Gun Watch ^ | 5 January, 2014 | Dean Weingarten

The Seattle Times is running a poll about two initiatives that will be on the ballot in the next Washington State election.  Instead of two questions that the voters will face, the poll asks three, summed up thus:

Do you think background checks should apply to:

All gun sales, as proposed in I-594

Only for sales by licensed dealers, as proposed in I-591

No one. Americans have a right to bear arms. Period.
It is very interesting that it is the third option that is  currently getting more than half the votes: 610 votes, 50.88 percent.

The first option, essentially for ending private sales and setting up the framework for a statewide gun registry has 288 votes, or 24.02 percent.

The second option, which is pretty much the status quo, has 301 votes or 25.1 percent.

It appears that a lot of people in Washington state were educated during the gun control push in 2013, and they do not want infringements on the second amendment, even existing ones.

Here is a link to the poll.

People see what’s coming.

Only 12.65% want background checks on all guns. (like criminals would comply anyway). 66.71% want to background checks because it is our Constitutional right to bear arms. 20.64% think that only licensed dealers should do background checks (imo pointless. Fast & Furious is just one reason I say that).

I will be 70 on the 20th and the changes for the worse have been amazing. When will people come out of their coma and really notice what is going in in this country?

When people stop watching television, I see real change for the better. Unfortunately, now it appears that Google has turned evil and is supplying information to the administration for the purposes of propagandizing the public.

Think how useful it can be to know all a voters likes and dislikes, and to have algorithms that can craft messages to motivate them to vote the way you want, based on those individual habits.

I am hoping and praying for people to wake up enough this year to take the Senate.

I have Comcast cable and I have had the tv on their Christmas music channel. Don’t know what I will do when that stops. The paranormal shows will still be on. : ). I like H2, too.
