The line that stands out in “Les Miserables” is this: “To love another is to see the face of G-d.”
I think you’ve got it figured out, Mesta, and you’re an inspiration to help the rest of us figure it out too.
I pray the Lord’s richest, richest blessings on you and all you love.
But to be loved back so unconditionally is to see G-d smile so huge that it lights up all the darkness in the world.
I am so glad you have her, and she has you. Love is the only thing that really survives this world, and the only thing that makes it worth whatever the cost to live here. What a statement of love it really is, that her smile is bigger to you than all the sadness and hurt in the world. That’s a huge love. That kind of love really does come from G-d. You are blessed and a blessing.
Merry Christmas Mesta
A Very Blessed christmas to you, Too, My FRiend!

Eek.
You’re welcome; wish I could do a lot more for you than ping when you can’t.
That poem just made me weep. Such raw truth and love there.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas Mesta, and much needed relief in the coming year.

I second everything in that ping!
May the miracle of the Savior’s birth bring hope to you this Christmas and may the New Year be the appointed time when your health is completely restored. Love and blessings to you and your precious daughter.

Just beautiful! Thanks!
Merry Christmas ! Prayers up!
Praying for the best for you dear Mesta. Your poem was beautiful but it made my screen all blurry. May God bless you and your daughter during this joyous season and for years to come.
Merry Christmas to all!!
KC, you are more special than you know. When I was a kid, (and I was once,) I went to Cheder with a boy named Oscar. He had kind of a crush on me, but I was eleven years old and had no such crush back. He used to ask every day if he could walk me home and carry my books and one cold winter evening, I said no. He threw a twelve inch icicle at the back of my head and the scar still remains to this day. You look just like him. His mom was one of the most beautiful women I ever saw. Class written all over her and nice as she was beautiful.
We grew up to be the best of friends and still are. Kidhood and crazy memories that are carried for a lifetime. Can’t ever take that away.
When I saw your picture with Sarah, I laughed until I choked. Thank you, my dear FRiend.
