"Well folks, it's time for some new blood at the NRA. We can't bury our heads in the sand when it comes to firearms legislation. The NRA needs to actively participate in the legislative process not dodge it. I've decided to run for an NRA Board seat and hope I can count on existing members within my network to help me get on the ballot and breathe some new life and young blood into this organization"
Some quotes :
I don't think idiots should be allowed to purchase or own firearms more to come later.
Brandon Webb If my professional accomplishments and expertise as a sniper don't qualify me to some degree then I don't know what to tell you. Of course when I'm submitting my package I'll give you my points on what I'd improve.
Brandon Webb Not participating in the process is a mistake. The NRA has taken the position of the Sierra club not willing to compromise and create gun legislation that makes sense. If you refuse to participate then you end up with silly laws that end up hurting responsible gun owners.
Brandon Webb I believe in responsible firearms ownership, and that Americans should be able to responsibly enjoy the sport. -BW
Brandon Webb Someone has to do it. If you're not pissing some people off then you don't stand for anything.
Brandon Webb More are coming, and if the NRA doesn't lead the process then we'll end up with some more silly laws that hurt responsible owners.

Freepers on Facebook, feel free to post your comment on Mr. Webb's status to let him know where he is wrong. Methinks that if he gets on the NRA board, he'll be like that jackass Texas Ranger who wants to work with Democrats in order to weaken our Rights.
Go get 'em!
This SEAL sounds like a typical dictator to me.
Womp, Womp.
Yeah, because the 10,000+ gun laws on the books aren't enough. We need 10 thousand and ONE.
Just STFU!
Keep your package to yourself, bubba.
WHAT?
There’s always room for improvement, but if you think that the people that are wanting to ban guns are interested in any kind of compromise, you are sadly mistaken. We need fewer gun laws, not more.
I he related to the senator or congress man webb?
exactly how does this gentlemans distinguished service sniping qualify him more or less on 2A issues....did the Mil begin educating snipers on 2A issues?
Ping! Navy Seal item of interest.
I wouldn't go that far, but working with them, I'll tell you this, they are willing to learn, admit their mistakes, and drive on. That is unless he is a leftist tool. I just think he needs some educating to cure him of some propaganda he might have picked up in a public skool.
What compromise? We give up stuff and get nothing. Whatever the hoplophobes and victim-disarmers didn’t get in this round of “compromise” they will come back and demand later.
Anyone who starts with the statement that he doesn’t think idiots should have guns doesn’t belong on the NRA board.
Not very impressed.
Webb's profession is irrelevant to the discussion. This guy's a wolf in sheep's clothing.
We already have 30,000 gun laws, Skippy.
Which is why I wrote ...10,000+
Oh boy. They got another super hero me me me complex hired.
Ping!
I didn’t see yours. I wasn’t calling you Skippy. I was calling the alleged Navy Seal Skippy.
But that would not describe me.
Well I’ve pinged our own Freeper Navy Seal, Travis McGee. I look forward to his comments on this guy.
