surrender

New York City authorities aren't waiting for their new Marxist mayor Bill DeBlasio to take office in order to issue totalitarian gun-grabbing edicts.

New York City last week started sending out dire notices to residents who own guns that now violate new ammunition capability laws, demanding they relinquish their weapons — and even though the notifications may just be standard police procedure, the text will come as a shock to most Americans aware of our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.

At issue: Weapons that hold more than five rounds of ammo. That's right...FIVE!

One such notice to a city resident, dated Nov. 18 and posted on Truth About Guns, reads: “Immediately surrender your rifle and/or shotgun to your local police precinct, and notify this office of the invoice number. The firearm may be sold or permanently removed from the City of New York thereafter. Permanently remove your rifle and/or shotgun from New York City.” (see below)

Thanks. My friend is specfor and he asked me to please not get a Glock. He recommended it. He said revolvers don’t jam, I will probably never need it, and if I do, 5 shots of 410 should do the trick. They call it the “anti car jack gun.” Ironically, I work in the car jack Capitol of the country and can’t even think about having it on me. It is safely locked away next to my bed in a town that hasn’t had a serious crime in 50 years. Let’s hope I never find out the true meaning of irony.

Note to New York City residents. This is IT. This is where you have to decide

They already decided. When they cast their votes for the leftist tyrants that they now have, they decided. All New Yorkers knew how anti-gun their elected reps are. Their reps accurately reflect the perverted values of the New Yorkers who elected them. Elections matter. Most New Yorkers fear and despise the freedom and responsibility of owning a gun. They live in "the city" They know everything. They are humanity perfected. Just ask any one of them.

New Yorkers are like plague rats. They befoul their nest with thousands of pages of regulations, some of the highest taxes in the USA,tyrannical gun laws, and a gestapo in blue willing and eager to trample the rights of the citizens. When they discover they can't make ends meet, that the crime is unbearable, and their standard of living has deteriorated, then they move to Florida or GA or PA.

But oddly enough when they move the first thing that they notice is all the things that are "wrong" with their new state. People own and carry guns (a terrifying thought to most New Yorkers). There aren't as many unions. There isn't a transit system (never mind that the poulation density is 1/50th of NYC and mass transit is economically unfeasible in 99.99% of the USA). So what do they do? They immediately elect politicians who represent they statist anti-freeodm ideas in their new home.

Or, to put it another way, they sh!t where they ate to the point where it was so fouled up they had to leave, and they then start doing the same thing all over again.

Everyone with the slightest regard for freedom should despise new yorkers.

Ironically, some of the most conservative people in our church came from Staten Island. So in general I agree with you, but we can’t paint them all with the same brush.

not every single one of them, but certainly the vast majority. Just look at the 0bama vs Romney popular vote in NYC

> Part of the plan. NYC will once again become a cesspool. Eventually the crime rate will skyrocket out of control and a police state will be implemented with the purpose of ridding “criminals” of guns.

What we are seeing now is the trial balloon. Looks like the 2nd amendment will be fought in NY.

The 0 administration is anxiously awaiting the public’s response to this madnees to see if their anti-gun campaigns and indoctrinaion of your children have paid off. “Constitution? That old thing? Huh, who’s at your door? What Constitutional right are you referring to, daddy?” Boom..<.phones goes dead >...
