In an article on CNN.coms Belief Blog, CNN writer John Blake says that, while famous pastors preach in states where crosses and church steeples dot the skyline, they do nothing about the poor who cant get the health insurance they would receive if they lived elsewhere.
That refers, in turn, to the decision of twenty-five states not to participate in Obamacares expanded Medicaid funding. The states were allowed to opt out following last years controversial Supreme Court decision on Obamacare, which upheld the law as a whole but struck down the mandatory state participation in Medicaid expansion, citing the protection provided to state powers under the Tenth Amendment.

Once again, the Left ignores the Parable of the good Samaratan, who used his OWN MONEY to care for the injured traveler. The Good Samaratan did not rob (i.e., tax) fellow travelers, or order the Inn Keeper to give him a cut rate under threat of violence.
For the Left, the end (caring for the injured) justifies the means they choose to use (taxes backed by force of arms).
Uh, “Charles Stanley, the Southern Baptist pastor in Georgia whose In Touch Ministries reaches millions around the globe, declined to speak;”
Then he quotes Dr. Stanley later on in the article, knowing that many of his readers won’t finish the whole thing.
And after that...
Are they advocating we send them to Canada, England, Cuba, Venezuela, etc.?
Well, I don’t know if civilization will even be around three years from now. But the law as written remains at 90% federal subsidy.
